The PurePrecision 8 Cup Pour-Over Coffee Brewer is of very high quality. I have been using mine daily for a month now and the flavor and taste have been excellent and consistent every single day.
The product delivers as advertised. Easy to clean. Easy to configure. Easy to use. Saves time. Great cup of coffee.
We always enjoy a good cup of coffee. However, when traveling we are usually "stuck" with drip coffee. Recently we spend five days at an air bng which had the Cuisinart Pour-Over Brewer. We were so pleased to actually have very good coffee each morning. Consequently when we returned home we simply had to buy one. Pour-over coffee is good, but challenging when there is a group of coffee drinkers. The brewer takes care of the problem. We are very happy with our selection.
Makes a great cup of coffee, simple straight forward but a great cup of coffee. I especially like the large timer.
I love the "pour over" method of brewing coffee and this pot does it well. So happy I made the purchase.
I have tried a number of drip coffee makers over the years (including all Cuisinart models) and have have all been good, functional machines. But I have found that this pour over machine easily produces the most flavor of any drip machine I have used. I was initially concerned that the eight cup carafe was too small but as the only coffee drinker in the house I have found it to be just fine and I wonder if the tapered design helps to keep the coffee's flavor? The only drawback is the there is an automatic shutoff after two hours with no adjustment to lengthen to three or four hours like other models. It's just a convenient setting the other models have. A small nitpick. I really like the look and performance.
Looks great. Functions really well. As long as you can deal with an 8 cup pot (a bit small), I highly recommend this well-made coffee maker.
Overall, I love this coffee brewer! It is vastly superior to my last coffee maker. It makes great coffee and I love the design. I have two concerns about the design. The lid just sits inside the pot. I worry it might pop out during pouring so I put fingers from my other hand on the lid while pouring. The other concern is when I open the lid to remove the grounds. Water drips into a little reservoir and I can't figure out how that drains. Having said all that, this coffee brewer makes excellent coffee and I would buy it again.
Overall, we really like this coffee maker. It's a distinct upgrade over our flat-basket model that we had for 10 years. This model makes terrific coffee and very quickly. The problem is that the water cannot possibly heat fully before it hits the grounds. While the settings suggest a lower temp, we set it to Xtra Hot for this reason- it seems to help brew an even better cup. Otherwise, we're quite pleased!!
Makes good coffee but a bit tall for countertops. With the lid open (to let it dry out) the upper cabinet door cannot be opened. Also, there are two separate lids, one for coffee, one for the water. That's OK but they cannot be opened at the same time to let both insides dry. The inside of the basket for the coffee filter basket has a particular slot that is not convenient; the basket cannot just be dropped in. The coffee filter basket must be positioned just right for the lid to close properly.
