This mini chopper fits the bill when it comes to chopping. I've used it this summer to chop all my vegetables for salsa! Sure beats chopping jalapenos by hand! the fact it is rechargeable means you can chop anywhere and not have to worry about having an outlet close by.

My biggest struggle with my previous chopping device was that dang cord and with this cordless chopper, I AM UNSTOPPABLE! I have literately used it every day since I've gotten in. Juices, veggies, chicken salad —- all the things have been made with this thing. It's easy to clean and simple to recharge. Don't sleep on this one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cuisinart Cordless Mini Chopper is AWESOME!!! When I received my mini chopper, it wasn't fully charged - as indicated by the owners manual. We followed manufacturers recommendation and charged the unit fully prior to using it the first time. It is small and does not take up much room to store it. The first time I used it, I chopped pecans with it. Actually, it worked so well, I ended up with "ground" pecans, which I could not use. I would recommend trying a small portion of an item before putting the chopper full of the recipe items. It may very likely over chop the food. If you are using the mini chopper in the "chop" mode, the blades turn clockwise - which is the sharp side of the blade. If you are using it in the "grind" mode, the blades turn counter-clockwise - which the blade if basically blunt. One neat thing I really like about this chopper is you do not have to have an electrical outlet nearby. You can place it anywhere on the counter and use it. It comes with a charger that plugs into the USB port on the back of the chopper. I can not wait to try and make pico or salsa with mine. I'm sure it will puree the salsa very well based on how it chopped the pecans. I would definitely recommend this item.

However, I was greatly surprised and now I'm going to have to buy the blender. A cordless food chopper was more convenient than I thought. It is small, powerful, easy to clean, charged in 15 min. We camp a lot and this is perfect for grilling outside and inside. However, it doesn't stay in the camper. It is such a convenient tool it goes where ever I cook. I use it more than my Ninja and I love my ninja. The cons are: It is small, so if you are doing larger items, you will need to do it in parts. The only other thing is I wish it had more blades and would even buy them separately if it was available. Trust me though, this is one tool I didn't know I needed but can not live without it now.

I love cooking but always hate chopping up onions but this chopper really makes preparing any meals a lot more enjoyable. I have no more risks of slicing open a finger from using a traditional knife when slicing and chopping up vegetables anymore. This chopper saves me a lot of time when preparing meals. The cordless feature is definitely a game changer for me. I love the LED lights that display the battery life and even when the chopper needs charging. This chopper is powerful with 7.4 volts of lithium ion power. With the press of a button I'm able to chop and grind vegetables quickly and efficiently. The 4 cup capacity bowl is strong, durable and dishwasher safe. I'm definitely happy with this product and the end results.

I love it's many wonderful characteristic, some of which are the fact that it is cordless and compact and can be moved to different places (which i continuously do) without having to have it plugged into an outlet but yet a big enough size to make many things. It charges really fast and the charge lasts along time. It is very powerful. The 4 cup capacity is also wonderful because you can make smaller or larger amounts in it. I use it to make my seasonings. Some times i like them chopped to different sizes and others i like them completely grinded and purée. Both work wonderful. This chopper does both perfectly. I have also used it to chop tomatoes and onions to make pico de gallo for snacks or small gatherings with my family. It is also wonderful for vegetables, cheeses, etc. You can make a full party combination of things with this wonderful chopper. I am in love with it and have used it pretty much every day since i got it. It is a very useful little chopper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this EvolutionX Cordless Mini Chopper by Cuisinart. The directions are upfront and easy to understand. It came out of the box about 50% charged. It took less than an hour to fully charge. The chopper has blue led indicator lights to let you know the battery capacity. This makes chopping and/or grinding effortless. I was able to chop up and onion with no issues at all. The lid must be closed, and locked into place in order for the chopper to work. I appreciate added safety feature as the blades are sharp. This mini chopper is more powerful than my full size food processor.. Its durable, and well made. The mini chopper far exceeded my expectations.
I bought this primarily to use for food scrap composting purposes. For example, orange and citrus rinds, bananas skins, etc. it does an amazingly good job. I wanted something that would be less intrusive on my counter than my large one. I'm pleased.
