I bought this item for my son-in-law's new Gas BBQ Grill. He really likes it, and it gives him enough light when he's grilling at night.
Perfect fit and very bright
Just used it for the first time yesterday. Really nice light! just keep it covered in the rain. Not waterproof but it states this in the instructions. Clamps to round handles. Switch on side.
Great light with good illumination over the grill cooking area. It's adjustable, so it should be able to fit a range of grill brands. It requires 3 AAA batteries that you will need to supply.
He's very pleased with this particular grill light because it lights up the entire grill. The only drawback is that the battery compartment is not waterproof.
I just received my Cuisinart Grilluminate light and while it looks good tight out of the box, the goodness stops right there. Some key points - 1. The lights flicker a lot (even with new Duracell Alkaline), so badly designed. 2. The clamps look wobbly, but I'm not going to test those and returning the product.
Leaked first rain storm. Junk. Returned.
I just open the new cuisinart grilling extending light and installed the batteries. I tried pressing the power button and the lightening flickers but never stays on consistently. It was a Christmas gift and we have lost the receipt. And he thing that we can do? A replacement would suffice.
