The steamer makes steaming vegetables super easy.
Bought this to fit on 3 quart pan and it fits perfectly. Use it to steam veggies and it works perfect'
Although a little heavy, the pans are beautiful, sturdy and well made. No doubt will be the last set that I will need. I would have liked to have see through lids but it wasn't a game changer. Would highly recommend.
Very useful, actually it's my most frequently used pieced of cookware. It cleanse up easily to a bright shine every time, even though the dishwasher. Excellent piece.
I haven't actually used this steamer yet, but like it so much better than the original steamer that came with the set. I like that it fits multiple sized pans. I like that it has a long handle for hanging onto. Yet, must admit that the long handle is a pain for my small storage space. Overall, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Very reliable and durable.

Super for steaming veggies
A beautifully made, sturdy steamer insert that fits smugly onto my 2 and 3 qt saucepans (from different manufacturers). Used primarily to reheat rice dishes. Highly recommend!
I bought this steamer because I liked the idea of being able to use it on different sized pots. However, I've found it really only works best with my medium-sized saucepan. It's too unsteady on a small saucepan and the rings just don't fit well with my large pans. You also have to be careful if you have light items in the steamer, because the handle is quite solid and heavy in comparison to the steamer basket, so it can easily tip. Once heavier foods are in the basket it tends to sit better. Overall, I find this teamer very useful and use it often. As well as vegetables, I also use it to steam heat my tamales.
It works great, but I would have liked for the basket to be higher in the pot so that you'd have more surface area to work with if you even had a smaller pot.
