Easy to use and manipulate; I have a kitchen aid stand mixer a lot, but for smaller things I use the hand mixer!
This hand mixer exceeded all my expectations. It is powerful enough to thoroughly whip butter and sugar together yet somehow does not sling the bowl contents all over the kitchen and me! I love it!!!
After using the same hand mixer for 50 years, I decided it was time for a newer model. This one fit the bill - it's easy to use and lightweight. Blades pop in and out easily for cleaning. It's effective and whips up great mashed potatoes. If this one lasts as long as my last mixer, it will outlive me!
Easy and great to use. Release button is great , the beaters come out fast and easy. , I love my cuisinart mixer. Actually a lot better than my kitchen aid mixer I had before I replaced it with the cuisinart, a lot cheaper too.
I purchased this to replace a hand mixer I owned for 40+ years. I know the Cuisinart name and own a few products under this name but this is my first Cuisinart hand mixer. So far I am pleased.
I was disappointed that this mixer did not have a lower speed setting. My first use was creaming butter for a cookie recipe. The lowest setting was too harsh. It sent butter flecks flying out of the bowl. It will definitely handle heavy jobs. It is definitely a well built, sturdy kitchen tool.
There is no low speed on mine. It says low but it beats so fast the food splatters everywhere. I wish it had a low speed.
About this about a month ago i bought this mixer and I'm fairly pleased with it. I do find that this is heavy and a little on the big side. What I don't like about it is, in position 1 it still goes super fast and splatters everything everywhere. One should be slow and then graduate to fast or faster.
This is the second one of these I have bought in 6 months that has stripped its gears and become completely unusable while using under light duty (making buttercream frosting). Normally I quite like Cuisinart products.
