This product has been highly effective for me and those family members that have taken it. Our experience has been that the capsules must be taken each day for 3 weeks or so for the positive effects to be noticeable. Once the positive effects are noticeable, they are significant (written in this way to be delicate and not graphic) and greatly appreciated. All of our intestinal distress dissipated and it was so wonderful to return to normalcy. I am not a physician. I originally purchased and took this probiotic on the advice of a trusted friend that has 25+ years as a licensed pharmacist. His experience has been that this product helps many people, but not everyone. He also indicated that I shouldn't waste my money purchasing the regular strength version of this product. In his opinion the 20 billion CFUs per capsule only found in the Culturelle Extra Strength version is necessary. Based upon our experience, I agree with my pharmacist friend. Purchase this product from Walmart. If you are not satisfied return to Walmart with the Culturelle Extra Strength packaging and your purchase receipt. I suspect that you will find a pleasant Walmart associated will refund your money.

I now keep a box at work and one at home. Making sure I never miss a dose. I plan to continue using culturelle daily and I love that I don't have to keep it refrigerated.

I take one every morning before or after breakfast. At first I didn't notice much of a difference but about on the fourth day I started noticing less bloating and also realized I've been regularly going to the bathroom which is something I've struggled with before this product. I have noticed a bit of gas but as the packaging says, that's normal. I will continue to take this product until I finish the 20 capsules.

I have noticed less bloating especially when eating certain food that I like but my digestive tract says otherwise. These capsules are 1x a day (I take in the A.M.), leave no aftertaste and are easy to swallow.
