The CURT class 3 trailer hitch is the most common type of trailer hitch installed on full-size pickup trucks and SUVs. It is also found on full-size cars, crossover SUVs, minivans and mid-size trucks. That is because the class 3 packs the punch of a heavyweight hitch while still staying light on its feet. This CURT class 3 hitch offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 6,000 lbs. and a comparable tongue weight capacity of 600 lbs. It is designed to be a custom-fit trailer hitch for certain years of the Dodge Durango or Chrysler Aspen (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). It comes with all necessary hardware for a complete installation. The 2" x 2" receiver tube opening of this class 3 hitch is able to accept a hitch-mounted accessory, such as a bike rack or cargo carrier, or a ball mount to tow most standard size trailers, including utility trailers, single-horse livestock trailers, boat trailers and large campers. One special feature about the class 3 that is not found in classes 1 or 2 is its compatibility with a weight distribution hitch. When used in combination with a WD hitch, this class 3's gross trailer weight capacity increases to 9,000 lbs. and the tongue weight capacity to 900 lbs. (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). CURT class 3 trailer hitches are engineered to be strong and capable, having a quality steel frame and a solid finish. They are put through strenuous testing before being deemed ready for market and come with two coatings -- a liquid Bonderite coating and a powder coat in high-gloss black -- that cure together to form a strong resistance against rust, scratching, UV damage and other wear. Our hitches are our pride, and as such, we back them up with a limited lifetime warranty and a one-year finish warranty.

The installation is very easy, but you need the back of the vehicle higher than normal to be able to see and access the installation holes, I purchase couple Ramps from Walmart and it worked fine. Once you are ready to lift the hitch into position you will need an extra hand.
I researched hitches and found several on line and in local shops. I purchased mt hitch based on the reviews posted. I received the hitch sooner than expected, the installation instructions were easy to follow, the install took me about 30 minuts from start to finish. I will admit I took the time to thread a bolt into each frame nut to insure the frame nut was free of rust or something. Hitch look great and works great.
This is a really good hitch. The hitch is very sturdy. The hitch looks good on a Nissan 2011 Frontier. The hitch is neatly hidden underneath the bumper. It mounts directly to the frame of the truck. All the parts needed came with the hitch. The black looks good. No cons so far.
My only complaint on this hitch is the glue they use to put on the specifications decal that comes on the side of the hitch. It is ugly and not easy to remove. This my only complaint, everything about the hitch is perfect for my vehicle. Installed on a 2016 Mercedes Metris Van.
The hitch fits well and looks good. I have not used it yet but I see no reason why it wouldn't function as it should. The shipping was only a couple of days. I purchased a truck from a dealer and he installed the hitch so I don't know how hard it was to install.
price was right compared to other manufacturers as well as appearance. installation directions an steel fish lines to get between frame worked perfectly.. tied hitch end to floor jack so it would go up straight and level, minor cut aways on heat shields then bolt down, torque down and your ready to tow,
Perfect fit, took about 45minutes to install by myself and my floor jack. I would highly recommend this product.
Easy to install, not too expensive, and a substantial piece of metal. Much better than the Class II trailer hitch that came with the truck (where the ball fits through the bumper, and you inevitably end up grinding through the bumper). This will definitely get the job done.
It fit perfectly as advertised. F150 ford. Put it to work the very next day.
The hitch was well made , the welds are near perfection, the paint finish is even glossy, attractive and looks like it will hold up well. It was well engineered and and had a straightforward install but you'll want a savvy buddy to help. I was very frustrated after the install when I went to install the insert and the pin wouldn't go in! QC missed that the holes weren't drilled to proper size and they're large enough that most people won't have a drill bit to fit. Luckily a mechanic buddy of mine took care of it for me , but it was frustrating nonetheless.
