Custer's Last Stand [DVD] [1936]

The first season of The Many Loves of Dobie Gills finds the title character Dobie (Dwayne Hickman) obsessed with pursuing, impressing, and ultimately winning the affections of Thalia Menninger (Tuesday Weld), the woman of his dreams. Unfortunately, he must compete against the charms of the wealthy Milton Armitage (Warren Beatty). Elsewhere, family issues, quirky friends, and the persistent Zelda ($Sheila James}), who is convinced she and Dobie are fated to be a couple, further complicate Dobie's romantic aspirations.
