Great for when the power goes off for a few minutes. I have4 of them: 3 hooked to computers and one to my Comcast receiver.
I already had three of these bought 4 years ago and all still good except the first battery died. They handle serious power spikes without smoking or dying like the basic surge protectors usually do. Fast switching to battery power when needed. Alarm feature can be turned off. 5.5 AH battery is small but you can remove the back cover and connect directly to a much larger 12AH battery of the same AGM storage type. This extends run time but not total power output wattage. Walmart price competes with Amazon.
I like the fact that this model has USB charging ports so my charger doesn't take up one of the outlets.
I bought this to replace a CyberPower that I have had for 11 years---always worked GREAT. This model is not as ""much"" as the old one--but it is all I need for my current computer system. I am hoping that this one works as GREAT as the old one.
The size is right for home
Overall product is good. Should have gotten one with more coverage hours when power goes out. I like the USB ports so we can charge our devices when power goes out.
The Personal Power Panel software (that you download from CyberPowerSystems) is NOT (yet?) compatible with the latest Mac OS Ventura 13 or higher. I had to have their tech support walk me through downloading and installing the Business Power Panel to make the software operational for this UPS. On the plus side, the orientation of the receptacles are perfect for use with AC blocks (that otherwise cover up adjoining receptacles); you get full functionality of all 8 receptacles.
