A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD provides battery backup (using sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems requiring active PFC power source compatibility. The CP1500PFCLCD features an advanced multifunction control panel with a color LCD to quickly confirm status and alerts at-a-glance. The screen tilts for easy viewing when the UPS is placed in a low position such as under a desk. Two USB charge ports (one Type-A and one Type-C) power portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets, even during a utility power failure. The CP1500PFCLCD uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently. The CP1500PFCLCD comes with a three-year warranty (including coverage of batteries) and a $500,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

This ups will allow you time to safely power your computer off in the event of a power failure.
Great unit. Battery's didn't last a year though.
This works excellent -- I purposely unplug it just to watch my computer and internet service stay on without a glitch. This one has option to keep the display on and see everything at a glance, i.e. external load and incoming voltage. It also keeps a running count of surge "events" (which I plan to use against my power company). I also bought this one's cousin -- the "non-sinewave" version for about $40 less, which works just as well but it doesn't have all of the cool display features.
Cyber Power has stepped up by adding the improved adaptive sinewave output required/recommended by more and more of today's electronic manufacturers at a reasonable price.
Great UPS if you have a setup drawing under 300w. Sine wave is a big plus.
The product was everything I expected, easy to use and works perfectly.
The units we have had before have all been different brands and the prices are about the same considering the difference in years between purchases. This is defintely the best of all! Very simple software that I downloaded and installed before the unit actually got here. Same software came with it on a disc. After it installed, I never had to do another thing! With our past experiences, we were guessing all the time about what was going on. This one is so easy to understand how to get the most out of the software and the available choices on the readouts on the unit face. If you have any simple knowledge of electricity, you can easily understand what the unit will tell you ........for example: you will have a whole new understanding of how your pc and peripherals are using electricity. Everything is real time and you know from second to second how long the UPS will keep things going if the utility service goes down in a storm or something else. BE SURE TO GET A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT YOU NEED IN THE WAY OF CAPACITY! CYBER POWER SAYS NOT TO LOAD IT WITH MORE THAN 80 PERCENT OF ITS CAPACITY!!! PAY ATTENTION TO THAT! I haven't known in the past how much the power needs were varying like when it first starts up, or when you suddenly ask your pc to do something requiring a lot more intense use of the processor. The way ours is set up with only the pc plugged in, it may require another 100 watts extra when the processor is really busy. Add to that our 32 inch monitor and several external harddrives and you see real quick that sticking with that 80 percent of maximum is very important. I haven't found any problem or even an idea of something else I wish it did. This unit is very well thought out and put together. As usual, I haven't read the operator manual. Haven't had a need to read it! I don't know if this has a fan in it or not. It never gets very warm and it makes no noise. The only time I have had heard any noise is when I pulled the plug to hear the alarm. It works and is plenty loud! The software provides a desktop gadget that you can use to monitor what is going on in case you can't see the face of the unit. I just can't think of anything but good things to say about this Cyber Power PFC 1500VA LCD Sinewave Adaptive Intelligent UPS. We will be buying more units just like this one to go with other computers, etc.
I say product peplacement, because this my second UPS from Cyber Power. The first one worked perfectly for over 9 years. I also had occasion to use Cyber Power's tech support to trouble shoot the old one. They told me that the batteries typically last 5 years, and I got 9 out of them. I ordered a new set of batteries, but that didn't correct the problem, so I returned the batteries, and bought a new unit. If this one lasts like the last one did, I'll have 18 years of protection for $300. A value in anyone's book!
I've had it about a week and it hasn't let me down yet lasting through one blip in the power. The Wattage used read outs do not appear to be accurate but close enough for general information. I have not used the front usb, much but they are not hooked to the battery. Do not plan on charging your phone from the usb ports during a power outage you will still need an adapter. However when all is normal freeing up 2 usb ports on my computer is extremely handy(when i get around to using them more). The LCD is nice, but if you are running on a computer, the included software and windows gadget, is just as good. If you are in the market for a UPS check your wattage used on load before ordering. Most setups do not need more than 450Watt. In my instance this UPS will give me about 5-8minus of uptime running at about half load (400-500watt)
The first time the power went out, I recieved an E21 error code. It means that the battery has a fault and it does not keep the power on.
