Easy pickup
Oh my gosh..love love love!!! The struggle I've had in my new rental home. Ugh! I'm from San Diego inland, so moving to Anderson was a real learning experience in humidity and dehumidifiers. My rental is from the 50's with all old wood paneling, and it is drafty. I found mold in two spots. Picked up a bucket of these for each room, and literally overnight I felt and saw the difference. The "old wood" smell as I called it, it is already fading. My bathroom towel dried in a snap. So relieved because my energy bill is already triple up here due to chillier weather.
Living in an extremely humid part of the US; this product has made my life a lot easier.
use it in the camper in use and close for the winter
We made the mistake of not putting this in our camper, never again. This stuff works. Keeping the moisture out of our camper when it's not in use especially during the summer months. It's a must in this hot and humid area where I live. Get rid of those moldy musty odors. Love this product and want be without it.
That's why it says "Moisture Absorber" and contains the standard Damprid moisture absorbing crystals. Also for absorbing odors. Works great in an RV.
I moved into a house that had a real musty odor, I even had a professional come check for mold and they didn't find anything. Still couldn't get rid of the old house smell but this did the trick. My rooms are very small though so take the size of the room into consideration when purchasing.
It's only collected a quarter of the liquid after 4 months. I heard the bags are better but these are in places where they had to be in the buckets. Could be I just got a bad batch, but I won't be purchasing them again anytime soon. Other people's mileage may vary. These were in my bedroom and bathroom as I'm in a downstairs renovated walkout basement. For some reason those two areas had the biggest problem. They're a good price point but that's about it.
I've used Absorbers with Charcoal before, and they's worked great. But here they've changed ingredients of filler and now these absorbers don't work. I've used them in different places and they both just gummed up on top of fillers and don't absorb water more. So, it was a very bad idea to change filler.
This is normally a good product, but the ones I recieved at store pickup were all broken. I did not notice till I unwrapped them so I was not able to take back. The charcoal absorbent had broken throught the "Shelf" in the product and fallen into the receptacle. Waste of $. First time store pickup has failed me.
