50 bottle size is great for storing some of the wins I wish to hang onto for a while for further aging. I've found even larger diameter bottles can fit where some reviewers complain they cannot. Sure they are tight fits but its better than leaving them at room temperature. The single zone only makes sense to me. If I want a white to be cooler when I open a bottle, I have refrigerators for that purpose.
Purchased the under-counter wine fridge. Shipped promptly. Excellent product. Couldn't be happier.
Great price for a wine fridge of this size. I had an older version, which came with a lock... this one does not have that feature. Still nice for either kitchen or rec room.
After way too much research on wine coolers I settled on this brand for no other reason than price. The online reviews for almost every brand of this size cooler were mostly negative. We received the product , plugged it in and after a week it is running fine. It is fairly quiet and holding temp. Only negative so far is that the bottom vent is plastic vs metal but not a big deal. So far, very satisfied.
Its been working well so far...and arrived without any damages.
We were replacing an identical danby wine cooler that lasted five years. This item came with a leveling foot missing and a dent in the side of the cooler. We kept it because the cooler fits perfectiy in the cutout space in our cabinets so the dent doesnt show. We used the leveling foot from the previous cooler.
I have been using this item for 1 week, only, so it is too early to provide a valid review of performance vs value. I can say, however, that I liked the fact that it was easy to install by following the clear-written instructions, the cabinet's has a nice finish and looks good as a stand alone unit in my dinning room; as of now, I have noticed that the temperature setting has been steadily maintained. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
At first, this fridge worked well. I loved how it worked and it really cooled! 19 months later though, and it has stopped cooling! It gets our wine to a little below room temp, but no longer chills anything. And of course, there is only an 18 month warranty on it. Do yourself a favor, buy the extra warranty!!!
