As are the previous souls games, this game offered the exact experience I expected. It was challenging but not impossible and it gives you a chance to explore new outlets with the new attributes and available spells, miracles, pyromancies and Hexes. I'm currently on my second/third run through of the game and I'm just enthralled by the gameplay and how dramatic it can be and how often it can change. Bosses don't sit back and let you wail on them, unless participating in some Jolly Co-operation, and will gap close you if you get too far away. Overall this met all my expectations. Reason only a four on value though was because there were some things that were in the beta that sadly never made it into the game.
