This is exactly what I was looking for and it is identical to what I had for eleven years.
IN THE PAST I HAVE BOUGHT A CHECKBOOK CALCULATOR FROM OFFICE DEPOT, THEY NEVER LAST VERY LONG BEFORE THEY STOP WORKING, BUT I FIGURED THAT THEY WERE ALL ALIKE, SO I JUST ACCEPTED IT. THIS ONE IS MADE WELL AND WORKS GREAT. EVEN THE COVER LOOKS GREAT. I HAVE GREAT EXPECTATIONS OF THIS ONE. IT FEELS SOLID, NOTCHEAP LIKE ALL THE OTHER ONES. I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO HAVING THIS ONE FOR A LONG TIME.
So far, so good. Last one only lasted a month, then calculator kept falling out of checkbook.
My old Royal checkbook has better options! But I will get use to this one.
Works good, however, need to be precise when pushing the numbers. There were times I pushed the numbers in but some didn't register.
I love the calculator itself BUT the way it is attached to the checkbook is shoddy. It is stuck on with some sort of glue that is already falling off. The last time I got one of these, it had velcro to stick it to the checkbook - much better - easy to take off to change the battery. As I said, the calculator is coming off already and I have to put a rubber band around the checkbook to keep it in.
This calculator didn't last me a year, and it went through batteries like 3 times. The last time I put batteries in it, it wouldn't even come on.
No matter how hard we tried to use this calculator, we could not get any of the balances to clear. It was not very useful for trying to keep three balances. We couldn't get it to add or subtract from the memory sections. We tossed it and ordered a different one.
