The conversion was simple to make. Instructions provided a step-by-step illustrated process.
I bought this conversion kit and used a box spring and mattress just like the description states. Works perfect!
These were perfect to convert our twins cribs to full size beds. I was worried that I would not be able to find rails since we had purchased our beds several years ago and are no longer being made. These matched perfectly and were easy to assemble. Glad I read the actual reviews and did not just glance at a rating. These are ONLY the rails to complete a bed frame, which the description clearly states and hoot depicts. The item is exactly as described, a conversion kit to convert a crib to a bed…nothing more, nothing less. It came with hardware thankfully too.
The conversion kit has a little lip on the wood planks to allow the box spring to sit directly on them. Works great. Note: you do need a box spring and can't just put your mattress on this as there are no bars going across. Looks great
Same decent quality as the rest of the bed. If you plan on using a box spring with the full size mattress, this is all you need. If you want to use just a mattress, you need to get wooden slats.
We purchased this kit to retrofit a crib we previously purchased 16 years ago. The color was a good match but we had to do some cutting down(crib posts) so that the rails worked with the posts of the bed. I was disappointed that there were NO SLATS included. Luckily we had some extra wood to accomodate, but we also had to run out and purchase some more to cover. For the price, it was worth it-my daughter is quite happy with it!
Rails did not fit the bed
This is two rails that are very over priced and still don't complete a bed transition.
Listen to the rest of the reviews, our daughters mattress is just sitting on the floor since all this comes with are side pieces. Now we have to spend even more $ to find a box spring or make our own slats to go across. Really wish we just bought a new bed.
We purchased this product thinking it would serve the purpose of holding up a bed for my two little ones. The full size bed just fell through. The rails would not hold up the bed and I had to construct a frame underneath the bed to hold up the mattress. This product is only good for the look of a frame; Not reliable for use.
