The Ivory dishwashing liquid I had used forever because of gentleness to skin has been discontinued (or is no longer carried by our Walmart store). I tried this because it is supposed to be sensitive to skin. I'm using my 2nd bottle and have no complaints.
I like that this dawn has a lighter scent and no dyes. I use it for laundry duty (pre wash) and have sensitive skin to worry about. This soap has never caused any allergic reactions. Plus, it does great as a dish soap as well!
I soaked a qulit in hot water and Dawn Ultra Pure that have some red color that had stained the white material in the quilt. It did a great job. All the red came out of the white parts. It saved my quilt and I can hang it on the wall again. Thank you
I try to stay away from chemicals in everything I use. So happy that I found Dawn Ultra Pure - it has the grease cutting power of the regular Dawn but it does not contain nasty chemicals. Don't know why it is NOT sold in stores - so I have been buying it online - always order 3 - 4 bottles at a time.
I'm highly sensitive to scents and while this one bothers me a bit it doesn't cause nausea and headaches like blue dawn.
This product works great to cut grease and get rid of tough food. Also keeps the bubbles in the water for longer and works to keep food from sticking to dishes. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants clean dishes.
My hands usually break out with other dish soaps, but this stuff does not cause irritation. Cleans just as well as the regular soap.
If you are sensitive or allergic to the chemicals found in many detergents, this is a good choice. When my local Winn-Dixie discontinued this product, I was happy to find that I could purchase it in bulk through Walmart.com.
I am very pleased with the Dawn Ultra Pure Essentials Sparkling Mist Scent . Not only was the price nice, it's scent is light and a little goes a long way. Additionally, as I generally leave my dish soap bottle by the sink, I also enjoy the fact the liquid is clear.
Much better! Was experiencing hints of "green apple" in our prepared food so was looking for something CLEAN and effective. Dawn is getting it done!
