works great. the nite vision needs a light to be on, which it didn't say in the write-up, but it is only logicial
We use this product as a baby cam. We go back and forth between places and the cam and monitor are small enough to travel well. Like the ability to add a second cam later. Had to buy a IR Illiminator if you don't want the cam close to the baby in complete darkness.
product works great. night vision, check. output to tv, check. portable, check. rechargable, check. transmits sound. check bonus: camera can run off of 9v for a few hours con: at 40 feet and 2 walls, it gets a little static-y but otherwise great. we use this to monitor our sleeping 11 month old baby... wish we bought it earlier!
The product works just as it said it would. I hoped for a longer range than what it actually reaches. It goes through 2 cement walls at about 30 ft. with a little snow and noise distortion. It would probably work just find in a wooden house. Excellent product, I just wish it would work at a longer distance, says 100 ft or so.
During the day it is great. But at night, it says it goes to night mode, Well it doesnt. Its gray and cant make the picture out.
I am going to return this as I needed it for night vision and it doesn't work for that even in lighted areas. Day vision is wonderful and very clear. If you just needed to have security for day vision its wonderful. I do like the LCD screen as well.
Even after fully charged, the monitor still would not turn on. I called their toll free number, was told to check if there was a battery. Yes, the battery was there. I ended up return and get a refund. Just can't trust this product.
The equipment works but the picture is so small and poor that you can not make out what you are seeing. I have it set up on a direct line of sight 50 feet and the picture goes in and out. I would not recommend it for outdoor use. This should be categorized as a doorway or hallway monitor only.
