They are the best thing for the best price. The quality of the picture I fret at night the picture looks as if it were day time and you can also talk to the people from ur monitor. Best purchase I've made in awhile
This security camera system is an excellent value. The camera clarity is clear, the two way speaker system is clear as a bell. In addition the monitor has a chime or alarm that sounds when motion is detected. Numerous setting for sensitivity, sound, and recording options. The cameras have a zoom feature. The only negative is the controls, the print describing the controls ( on the monitor)are small and hard to read, however once you use it for a while you can memorize the controls. This system was plug and play, so easy to set up..
love this set up. Needed a camera 50+ feet from house on garage where there is no Wi-Fi. Had been searching for two months when Defender popped up! Works perfectly, only using one camera at the moment, but crisp pictures, sounds is phenomenal even when turned down. I am a Big Fan now, thank you
I already had a monitor and 4 cameras. I bought this to add to the mix. I love these cameras. As soon as I can get WiFi run in my Mom's home (waiting on the power company to run the fiber out her way) I will be changing over to your other product lines. But for now these are amazing and do the job. I am a customer for life. No worries.
Love this system. It is very versatile and you find out more and more functions exist the longer you use it. I needed a non wi-fi security system to monitor my neighbors of disrespectful behavior and now I have clear proof. Defender Phoenix M2 has totally surpassed my expectations.
This wireless security system is awesome. It took me longer to get it out of the box than to hook it up. Yes, it is THAT easy to set up. The monitor is clear and easy to use. The intercom on each camera is really nice. All I have to do is press the "Talk" button and talk. The menu on the monitor is easy to use. I can monitor the front and back of my house throughout the day and night. The system camera only records when motion is detected. I love the fact that this system is a "Plug In" and "Go" equipment--No batteries or wires needed!!! By the way, one of my friends ordered this system two days ago, and I know she will be very happy with it.
This system is very easy to install and works very well. In installing you need to have your power supply ( 110v ), near your camera mounting area. It is best to have your camera power adapter indoors ( not water proof ) not exposed to the elements. The camera is weatherproof and of good quality. With a little planning and an extension cord ( if needed ) drilling a small access hole to get inside to power source your camera hookup is complete. Monitor hookup requires plugging in the monitor power adapter and hooking it to the monitor and your done. The cameras that come in the system package are paired to the monitor, extra cameras need to be paired up , but very simple to do. This is a nice entry level system that performs very well, watch for sales got mine for $199.00 . Great picture quality day ( color ), night ( black & white ). Unit dos not come with complete instructions you can down load the complete instructions on the company web site for your model. You only get a quick reference sheet in the box.
I would have given 5 stars.... But one camera goes out of range sometimes it comes back within a few secs. But still could be sacrificial footage one day. And the night vision isn't the greatest on the camera farthest away from the monitor, but the one closer to the monitor does pretty good. Doesn't record that long to be a 128 gb SD card about 12 days I think I'm still messing with it and learning it. All in all about 4 stars.
Pretty cool cameras. Easy set up and works great EXCEPT.....cameras cannot be mounted from the ceiling because the image is then inverted(upside down). They could have easily rectified this by providing a mounting bracket that be attached to either the top or bottom of the camera. I would have given 5 stars otherwise
I have had these installed for about a week now and I am probably gonna return them soon. The daytime views are great and I love the idea of not having to have hooked up to the internet because of where they are located but the night vision is awful. I have tried different settings with the brightness and such but to no avail. See my attached photo. The night vision produces a spotlight on the ground and although the motion will record if you pass into it's range, the only thing you will see is what appears in the spotlight area. I am going to be returning these and finding a better solution.
