I'm using this on a Berber carpet so it's low-pile. The grippers on the mat dug right in and the mat is staying flat and in place nicely. I weigh about 240 pounds and the mat is not showing indentations from my chair casters. I'll give two warnings about this mat. The first is it is shipped flat. That's good in that you don't have to unroll it and flatten it yourself but it makes it a little unwieldy to carry especially if you're carrying it up or down stairs. The second warning is that it doesn't have a tapered edge. This means its edge is high enough to trip you if you don't pick up your feet as you walk onto it. As long as these warnings don't bother you, I whole heartedly recommend this mat.
Ive only had it a week, but seems to be solid, and is working great. Makes working at my home office desk much easier than trying to scoot around on the carpet on my office chair. Plus it will help prevent the carpet from getting worn out.
Perfect chair mat for my carpeting. Was glad to find this brand in polycarbonate in particular.
It is very good except it tends to curl up when standing near the edge. Aside from that, it would be excellent.
