Excellent high quality outdoor furniture which was delivered on time. I was very pleased with the quality of design and fit. The assembly went together well and the fit was tight. Instructions were OK but it should show the orientation of the seat backs with more detail. Recommend using teak oil upon assembly. I am very pleased with this attractive set.
We just love this set - it more than we expected- very comfortable to sit in - I have read the reviews - and I was alittle worried about it - but it was very easy to put together & the color is great & I will protect it from the weather to keep it like was when it was delivered- but I have to tell you it is just so comfortable to sit in I have on my back porch facing the lake it - I brought the cushions & pillows they match the colors of our home through out. I cant wait to have our boys over to play poker on it ! - thank you so much- another great product!we brought both the 4 chairs& table & the bench fantastic- and very afforable buget.
Product arrived in good condition. No cracks or scratches. The overall quality is good, but not great. For the price, it is well worth the purchase. I put everything together in about an hour and a half and it looks great. I also got the matching umbrella, chaise lounges and cushions. Everything looks very nice and not cheap. I am weary of how the wood will last, but that goes for most wood patio furniture. Overall the price makes it worth the purchase.
Any wooden product over time will loose it manufacturer protection. You have to use common sense when caring for exterior furniture. Use a special weather resistant polyurithane so your patio set will last for years and it will also make it more beautiful. Theres not a thing wrong with this product. Simply oiling it wont' give it long term protection from the elements.
I bought this set about 2 1/2 years ago and I have really enjoyed it. I keep the cushions and umbrella stored in the shed unless in use, so they have maintained their look very well. I have not oiled the table and chairs, and they have weathered well. There has been some slight cracking due to the weathering, but not in any way that would lead to not being able to use any of the furniture. I generally leave them out in the hot Atlanta sun for most of the year. We put them in the shed from mid-December until around March. I do agree that the screw plugs don't last long. I'm pretty happy with this set and expect it to last about 5-7 years total. It was a very good buy, though, so I don't mind the finite life.
This set not only meets my expectatiions but exceeds! Very nice in design. I wish the chairs folded but otherwise, it is great. Looks beautiful in my yard with cushions and throw pillows. Very comfortable and was compared by patio sets from Crate & Barrell! I've only owned it for a month but it's a great asset to my outdoor living space
We purchased this set a month ago while our patio is being built and had it, the cushions and umbrella shipped to our local Wal Mart for pick up. When we took it out of the box this weekend the table and chairs had scratches all over the very top wood pieces, the table was uneven and wobbly and may just straighten itself out over time outside. The cushions are okay quality and so is the umbrella. When I called the store to complain I was told to bring the set back for a refund but after 2 hours of getting it together it actually is not worth it. We can take some wood putty and fix the chairs and see what happens with the table- we may need to take something to balance it in the long run- that leg is a good half inch shorter than the others. My neighbors have commented that it looks great, we will see how it holds up.
PURCHASED IN SUMMER 07. FELL APART ALMOST IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT MUCH USE. LOOKED NICE ON MY DECK BUT WAS WORTHLESS WITHIN 3 MONTHS. ALL THE WOODEN CAPS COVERING THE SCREWS WHICH HOLD THE SET TOGETHER FELL OUT. CHAIRS CRACKED QUICKLY. KEPT THE CHAIRS FOR ABOUT A YEAR---I JUST ENDED UP BURNING THEM WHEN I MOVED IN 08. SERIOUSLY ---DON'T BUY THIS SET. I WOULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS IF I COULD.
I purchased this product approximately 2 years ago for our patio. While the product was very attractive looking when put together, it was not sturdy at all. Within a few days of using, the seats cracked when sat on (and NOT by heavy people I should mention). The table also cracked within a few days of use. This product is junk, and I would not recommend purchase of this product to anyone. Luckily when ours broke, I called Walmart and requested a return. They not only arranged for the pickup at my house for return, but also reimbursed me the $99 it had cost to ship the items to me in the first place.
I bought the Delaney set Spring 08'. I oiled the set twice when I first got it, and again before I stored it in the basement for winter. Same thing again this summer, oiled it twice to start and again this past weekend. The wood has become brittle and cracks very easily, even though I'm oiling it more than is recommended. Sometimes we get pretty decent winds and to no fail the patio chairs always fall over. Even though they're tied together and covered. The first time a chair fell, it broke. I keep the table very clean and covered and yet we've had a green moldy substance on it and when I cleaned it with a kitchen dish pad, the wood became discolored. So now I have a zebra colored table instead of wood. (by the way that was a non-scratch pad) DO NOT buy this set, yes it looks nice when first put together, but at the end of the summer and when you have to oil it again, it's just too irritating.
