Our deck is completely in the sun. I wanted an umbrella for the table. Boy, did I get one. It's perfect! I didn't expect it to be so big - it truly covers the entire table. I love the blue color. It's very heavy and seems well constructed. It was a great buy for the price.
When I received my umbrella, I didn't expect such great quality! The entire umbrella is made out of nice heavy wood and the best part of the umbrella is the part that connects the top half of the umbrella and the bottom part of the umbrella. Other umbrellas that I've purchased for our pool deck area have been rivited together and any any wind would break break or bend the umbrella at that joint and was no longer usable. This umbrella actually has a brass threading where you screw the 2 sections together. The treading is about 2 inches long which makes that joint much stronger in the wind. I can already tell that this umbrella is going to last allot longer than all the others I have purchased in the past. The other great thing about this umbrella is that it comes with a cover and the cover has a handle for easy carry. Other umbrellas never come with their own covers - this is sure to protect my investment! Can't wait for warmer weather so we can use it everyday! I highy recommend this umbrella!
I am well satisfied with this product. It looks good and provides lots of shade. The color was more like navy blue. The pole was stained dark brown. This umbrella is well worth the price. I would purchase this again. Thanks Walmart for free site to store shipping.
Good product for the money. I ordered it at the last minute in hopes of giving my inlaws a shaded place to smoke outside. The delivery was on time as promised. For as little as it cost one time use would meet my expectations. But it seems to be exceeding my expectations.
I was very excited to find this on line at Walmart. We took it to the beach with us and it was wonderful. I even had some other vacationers ask where I got my umbrella. We are very happy with the price and the quality of the umbrella. Most happy with being able to pick it up at our local Walmart store.
Really like the umbrella. Well made and good price. Does not have a string or mechanism to put the umbrella up and down. Need to lean over and reach to push up and get pin in to hold it. Not sure if I'm missing something or not. For the price I do like it and would recommend it.
Overall, it's a good umbrella for the price. I bought two of these umbrellas for my patio -- one for the table, and one to shade the lounge chairs. My only lament is that the pole on the one over the lounge chairs bends a bit, as it does not have the support given by a table. As other reviewers wrote, the pole is a bit thin and weak. However, for the price, and considering how easily umbrellas can break in a strong wind, I'd say go for it!
The umbrellas arrived packed very nicely. I had them shipped to a local store and saved the shipping costs. The cloth on the umbrella is a bit flimsy. I was disappointed there wasn't a sewn on tie closure so the umbrella flaps in the (by the beach south florida wind). The raising of the umbrella requires some strength as it it not that easy to do. I didn't require it, but this umbrella does not have a tilt feature. All in all the color and construction are very good and for the fair price a decent umbrella.
this color was hard to find and we didn't want to spend $$$ for our first patio umbrella, just in case we didn't really like them. the end result, super color, great size, a little wabbly, nice base stand, has yet to fall over!! now we need a bigger backyard for more outdoor funiture.
I bought this product sharply discounted, online, w/ in-store delivery. The order process and updates about delivery were excellent, and the product was delivered earlier than promised. The wood and metal components of the umbrella and its stem are nice and work fine. The fabric seems a little cheesy; however, the blue has not sun-faded and the fabric seems to be holding up well in the heat and sun of deep south TX. All in all, it is abetter product than the sale price I paid suggested it would be.
