Not only have we used this umbrella on our deck (this is the 3rd summer), but we've taken it to the beach twice. It is nice and large and offers a lot of shade. Looks classy and beautiful. I've oiled the wood parts to protect them. Sure, it's faded but one only sees the umbrella from the bottom anyway. I will definitely buy another one soon!
Goes wonderfully with Delahey set! Looks great and very thick fabric-opens up nicely! Love the look with the pillows I picked that were very thick and quality fabric as well for price! Great value for price. Very happy didnt think I could afford a nice set.
I prefer this type of wooden market umbrella instead of the metal pole type. This is a nice umbrella, easy to put together and the price was most reasonable. I bought to replace a red one that was old and much faded. I would describe the color as a wine colored burgundy. At this price, if it fades I can afford another one next year.
I am very impressed with the quality of the umbrella. To open the umbrella it must be pushed up by hand. This is sometimes difficult and if I were taller it would not be an issue. If I could add a pull string to open the umbrella I would indeed do so. But for the great price and good quality of the product I am satisfied. Thank you Wal Mart.
Best umbrella I have ever owned. Quality, the wood, the fabric, everything is great. Just wish it had a crank to open and it tilted, cause you have to be tall to put the spike in to keep it opened :-) but for the $$ it's the best deal around...great product.
We are very happy with this umbrella. It is a beautiful color and has an expensive look. It has been a wonderful addition to our patio. It provides adundant shade and is easy to use. What a great value.
We purchased this umbrella a couple of years ago and loved it so much, we recently purchased a 2nd one to extend the look throughout our backyard. The burgundy is a standout among your average patio furniture color schemes and we've enjoyed playing up the color with red and burgundy flowers in our yard. Great piece for the price, holds up well in our wet NW weather. Be sure to bring it indoors every once in awhile as the red will fade over time (as most reds do). All in all a great value and great color! Goes well with the Delahey burgundy lumbar and throw pillows too.

My old market umbrella is showing wear (after 15 years) so I decided to get a new one and didn't want to pay a ransom for one... The umbrella frame is well made and quite sturdy but the canopy/cover is flimsy.... I thought it was a sunbrella fabric top.... NOT... I should have made inquiries before buying.... I'm sure it will do it's job but not quite as long... I did find a place to get replacement sunbrella tops.... so all is not lost... It is a handsome looking product....
This would have been a beautiful umbrella had it not broke when initially raising the ubrella. After placing it in the stand I went to raise it, push up type, and one of the wooden umbrella spokes snapped in half and I had to return it. I cannot imaging how flimsy it would be in the wind.
