The bench arrived today. It was very easy to assemble and looks great. I looked at a lot of benches online; they were all too expensive -- and the one WalMart link said this particular bench was 'not sold online' and 'not sold in stores'. Not sure how they sell it then ;-) But I found another link, and the bench is a keeper!
I could not belive how great this bench looks for the price I paid. It's made of real wood with a nice shine, too. No splinters! So easy to put together, it came with its own tool for easy assembling,fantastic! We needed something to sit on outside because we don't smoke in the house. This bench is very nice, sturdy and comfortable.
I love FSC wood products and their conscious, responsible ethics in forest management. The price was awesome and the bench is really pretty! I put it on some flagstone in our yard, and planted some plants around for a nice sitting area. The bench is large and confortable, it has a nice feel that curves for a comfortable seat! I would recommend this product to anyone!
We ordered these benches for our family entertainment center. We were going for a "tiki room" feeling and thought the benches would work nicely. Plus, the price was right. The assembly was easy and they look great. They are sturdy, smell nicely of wood, and look more expensive than they were. I would recommend them.
We purchased two benches for our firepit patio. They are attractive with a nice finish, and are very comfortable because of the curved seat. Assembly is very easy; screws are pre-set so the legs just need to be attached with included hardware. One bench leg did not match ideally so we reset the screw. These benches are an exceptional value. We like them so much that we ordered two additional ones. **We also ordered the striped cushions that fit perfectly.
I got two of these benches last summer and I have been pleased with them. They are a nice size and great for around my fire pit. The only issue I have encountered is that you are suppose to treat them with teak oil once or twice a year and it is VERY hard to find. Walmart doesn't carry it and neither do any of the home improvement stores. I finally found some at a boat/marine store.
I had the bench shipped directly to my home. The box was a bit torn and when I started to assemble it, I realized that one of the legs was missing. It took about 5 minutes to assemble. I called the manufacturer listed on the instructions and should be receiving the leg in about 7-10 days. The quality for the price paid is excellent - it looks much more expensive than what I paid. Would have given it 5 stars except for the missing leg.
The bench is lovely. It was simple to put together and the little wrench came with it. All I had to do was open the box and put the legs on. Easy. Instructions were crystal clear. It is a fine product, especially for the price! Site to store delivery was easy, too.
We were remodeling our deck and decided to replace our older wrought iron furniture with wood tables, chairs and benches. The Delahey products at Walmart.com looked like they would fit the bill. We purchased two of the wooden benches and couldn't be happier with them. Assembly was a snap and they are comfortable and sturdy. We are very happy with the purchase.
The stain was much darker than it appeared in the photo online. It seems to only be stained not varnished. It was just ok, I have decided to return mine-disappointed that I spent so much money on shipping to find that it did not accurately match the photo.
