I've been buying Dell computers since the 1990's and have never been disappointed. I've purchased desktops and laptops. Customer Service and Tech Support have always been able to solve any problems I had with any of my computers. I love having an All-In-One. It's so nice to have the extra space. This computer is super fast. I'm online in less than 30 seconds after turning it on. The size fits my needs perfectly. My only problem was I had to wait 3 weeks before this computer was delivered to me. It was worth the wait. I recommend this computer to anyone.
Love love love the wireless key board and mouse. This is my second Dell Inspiron. First PC was a laptop and a demo model from Best Buy over 5 years ago. The only reason why I broke down to buy a new computer was my old PC had some many viruses. Thanks Dell for making great computers!
Our son talked us into replacing our very old Dell computer and we are so happy we listened to him. We love the new computer....it's so much faster and easy to use. We are also enjoying the much bigger monitor which has excellent color. All in all. we (age 70 and 72) are very satisfied.
The only thing that comes to mind is "with ease". This was by far the easier computer I have ever owned. I just took it out of the box, plugged it in and everything worked like a charm. There were no extra programs to download and even when I connected my printer, it was instantaneous. I did not have to put the programming disk on the hard drive. I just love it.
I'm sure it would also work good with Windows 8, by that O/S doesn't have the handy Start button (at bottom-left) of Desktop as Windows 7, so I was lucky to still get this model with Windows 7! Hopefully Microsoft will bring back the real (original) start menu in future versions, maybe as a "classic" setting, that works the same as it now works on Windows 7.
Our Mom/Nana has only been using it for a few days, but so far she seems quite pleased with it. The only real issue we have is that it was loaded with Windows8. The descriptions conflicted in 2 different spots in the product specs when we were ordering. In one area the description listed it as having Windows7 Home Premium but farther down in the specs area it listed Windows8. Being that we were ordering the Thursday before Christmas & were in a crunch time-wise we were unable to get any help on-line to clarify which operating system it actually has so we ordered & hoped for the best. Since none of us has Windows8 it has thrown us for a curve but we are learning right along with her. I just wish the site has been more clear as to which operating system is loaded into this unit. Other than that, we're happy...so far :)
I bought this computer for my parents and was concerned about Windows 8 since they are barely versed in Windows 7. This computer is great the size and lack of big pieces of hardware is perfect for my parents. In addition, having the sales rep push me to Windows 8 was wonderful because my parents are no longer calling me regularly for 'help'... they can figure things out on their own - between the computer and OS this is a VERY intuitive computer and a GREAT BUY.
I purchased my Inspiron 20 for casual use: web surfing, videos, word processing, gaming. I am pleased with my purchase. The quality is very good. The screen is excellent. I like the wide keyboard for its typing ease. Processing speed is adequate for my purposes.
Have been using my Inspiron AIO 2020 since January and have been happy with it. It has proved reliable so far and the all in one is certainly a space saver. It does lack a video output, which would have been nice to have. Must have overlooked that when viewing the specs. I have owned Dells in the past and have always been happy with them - so far the same goes for this one. It's great value for the price and for everyday computing needs will satisfy my family's needs.
So far real good is correct. I had this system set-up in no time all by myself not techie self. Love not having all those cords and cables, Only had 1 problem and that was connecting my 2007 Dell printer. Called tech support and Vijay the tech had that problem solved in no time by downloading a new driver (I really don't want to replace my printer that is still in excellent condition with no problems (it's a Dell after all). Anyway my new computer is working perfectly and the speed is amazing. Tech support is wonderful. I'm thinking of eventually getting wireless mouse and keyboard so it will be even less cords. Ok, I will update this review if necessary, but SO FAR, REAL GOOD. This is my 3rd Dell computer and unless they drastically change I will always own a Dell. Also, I am having no problems with windows 8. Watched a youtube video for 8 minutes and then I was all set. But then I am one of those weird people that liked Vista. LOL
