I've been having it for more than a month now and it works perfectly. It is not difficult at all to write with it and I have no trouble whatsoever with any kind of delay. I was kina hesitant to get it at first because of the reveiws but I do not regret my order. (I own an Inspiron 14 5000 2-in1)
It feels likes it's made out of a nice quality of materials and it's super light, feels like your using an actually pen. I do wish that had a charging system instead of using a triple A battery, to power it, but there probably a reason they did not do that. Would recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressive; lightning response and fluidity of the pen with the XPS13 is fantastic; it's extremely comfortable to hold for long periods of time, and it works beautifully with Microsoft one note. Also, unlike most of the competitors- it's using a battery that actually lasts for eons. It won't die an hour into using the pen (why I didn't go with the Yoga). For relentless execs with 15 hour days - this pen and the XPS13- brilliant. Well done Dell, well done.
Dell Premium Active Pen is a very sensitive, precise writing and drawing pen. Easy to use and set up with strong magnets to hold to the side of the laptop. I'm using it with an Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1. The buttons are well placed and work well. Only complaint is the side buttons have the same feeling as the pen body and sometimes you don't realize your finger is on it and press it. The pen would feel better if the buttons had a slight texture to them.

I use a Dell Active Pen with my work laptop and rely on it heavily for taking notes (old-school style :-), brainstorming ideas, and whiteboarding. Loving the Active Pen with the XPS 2-in-1 for brainstorming on home improvement projects and sketching out ideas. Magnetic attachment to laptop is nice feature.

The pen overall works very well, but I have had it for about two months and it has begun to peel, it continues to get worse every time I use it. I have contacted Dell about this issue twice with and without pictures and I have not received a response.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered dell premium active pen PN579X, the package arrived on time, surprisingly it's not the product that i ordered, instead of a pen it was a keyboard and a mouse, so i did have to call and requested for a return cause what came wasn't my order and someone for sure is waiting for that keyboard and mouse, the return was successful it reached the destination that i was instructed to send with proper labeling and all, however i was told that my refund might take 10-14 days, so until now i am patiently waiting for my refund if i will really receive it who knows! Dell has a good costumer support in my experience for this particular transaction but I can't rate a product that hasn't reach me at all. Hope this company can deliver what exactly costumers ordered.
