I really like this espresso machine. Easy to use. Doesn't make loud noises like my previous espresso maker. You are in control of turning off frother and coffee amount when you want.
Great product and quality. The price was awesome. You can make a coffee in 2 minutes or less
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This De'Longhi Espresso machine has a very stunning design with a silver and stainless steel color combination. It is very easy to use with a frother. It is a medium size of Espresso machine that comes with all the accessories that require to make Espresso or Cappuccino. I love drinking coffee multiple times a day. I use different kinds of coffee based on the time and occasion. I like fresh beans ground coffee that more preferred for me to use this machine. This Espresso machine comes with a single shot and double shot cup to brew ground coffee. It also has a black color plastic measure spoon to fill the coffee and the other end has a circle shape that helps to set the coffee evenly brew. However, I more prefer to use that measuring spoon in stainless steel. The extra strainer can store in the top part of the machine where we fill the water for coffee and steam. The water reservoirs made from clear plastic that can easily remove to clean it. The milk frother can also use to get hot water for green tea or Americano drink. The frother can use to make hot milk and cappuccino by just pushing the ring up and down that also labeled on it. The frother is very easy to clean after using removing the steel cap and rubber washer which can wash easily. Overall, The Espresso machine is very easy to use moreover the good thing is that has an inbuilt frother that can make cappuccino as well. The design of the machine also looks good in the kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Mini Leightweight Version of the Big Delonghi Machine. It is perfect for the Camper, or just taking it on Vacation! When You get used to having this Machine You want to take it with you every where You go. The Scoop has its on little built in Tamper on it and The Water holder is so easy to pop in and out for filling! This Machine doesn't have the Weight of the Big One so it slides easy when placing or removing the Portafilter. Overall it is a Great Little Machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great espresso maker/ cappuccino system, it is easy to use and not too bulky so it will fit most places in a kitchen. Everything comes out very smooth with a good flavor, and having a milk frothed is an added bonus. This is definately something any coffee lover will use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved a good cup of cappuccino but this is my first time being able to make my own. I was a tad intimidated at first but the step by step instructions walked me through everything I needed to know. Love that it has the option of one or two shots/cups and the bottom tray removes to accommodate small or taller cups. The unit itself doesn't take up a lot of space and the stainless steel compliments my kitchen perfectly. Clean up wasn't as hard as I thought and every part was easy to remove and put back together. It's the little details that I enjoy most like the filter cup storage under the water tank lid. This makes it easy to store and everything is at the ready in one place. After purchasing some 1 and 2 ounce shot glasses and a milk frother pitcher DēLonghi has turned me into a true barista in my own home! Excited to continue to play around with this coffee maker. The possibilities are endless. Two thumbs up from me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this espresso machine, one because I love the brand and two, my old espresso machine was on its last leg. I was hoping this would replace it, it's suppose to be a higher quality than my old one, but after 20 days of trying different ways to make espresso, I'm still frustrated at it. First, I tried it with my usual espresso ground coffee, very fine ground...for espresso, and it was fine, great foam, great taste, however, after that it only went down hill. I even had times when nothing would come out, besides a few drops, until I cut off the machine, remove the handle and poke the coffee ground (wet of course by then) with a knife, and put the handle back in place. Then it would finally come out. I read the instruction, and realized that may be it was too compact, so I tried less coffee ground, I even didn't press on it with the spoon, but just evened out the coffee, didn't work, always had to use the poking with the knife trick. On the other hand, my partner would use a normal coffee ground, and it worked fine, so I thought this might just be a coffee ground issue, tried it myself with the regular coffee, evened it out with the end of the spoon, and didn't work either. So I tried with just taping the handle to settle down the coffee, this time it worked, but not much foam! I tried again with the espresso ground, just taping the handle gently to settle the coffee ground, it finally worked, not much foam either though. So it seems like we shouldn't even use the end of the spoon at all. Overall still trying to make it work for me, and hoping I can keep my favorite espresso coffee ground. I have used it with pods, a d it worked great each time, however those are not easily found and too much more ey. As for the wand, My daughter enjoyed making all kind of drinks and had no complaints with it . So that part seems to work great.
Its so easy to use and cute size so it doesnt occupy a large space in the kitchen. You can have your coffee in less than 3minutes. Only thing I can say is this is a manual coffee maker so you need to keep an eye on your coffee whenever you make it so it wont overflow (trust me it happened to me many times)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi Espresso machine is nice looking, but need some help. First it very vague on how to make a cup of expresso it took a couple of tries to figure it out . It is a manual machine so you have to turn on and off when the espresso cup is ready. Its a little messy to clean. It would be better if you can tell it cup size so it could turn off automatically. I don't recommend this machine.
We ended up ordering this machine twice. The first one worked great for a week, and the coffee was delicious. Then it started leaking water out of weird places. It leaked from around the outside of the portafilter, from around the control dial, and the seams of the plastic and stainless steel. Each day it struggled more and more to pump water through. I cleaned it thoroughly after each use and checked for clogs. Water would leak even if the portafilter was not attached so I'm assuming something inside the machine was leaking. We sent it back after 3 weeks of once a day use and ordered another. Right out of the box the new machine would only drip a small amount of water through the coffee. It would take more than 5 minutes to make one espresso shot with the double shot portafilter. The single shot worked a little better, but also dripped slowly. We were using Medaglia D'Oro Italian Roast Espresso with the machine. We ended up getting a Calphalon espresso machine on sale and so far it's working good. It was a little more expensive but it has some more automated features and seems to be able to push the water through the coffee with no problem.
