I just use twice at the moment but the steak was great just like in the restaurant and yesterday I did vegetables and pork chop and was great I really love it. My sister also looking for it and she have not see any more at Wal Mart internet side. I can wait to used outside too.
I have only used this once but it cooked the chicken perfectly. Beautiful grill marks and no smoking. I have not used the broiler tray yet. Can't wait to try it though. Great appliance, good deal.
Can't cook outside because the weather is nasty, this is a great substitute! Roasted potatoes and cooked fish at the same time. Can't wait to do more meals on this!
Pictures on walmart.com show grill with "optional" flat plate which you do not get. I did not see any place on the ordering page that the flat grill is optional or could be included in order. The way it's shown, one would think plate could be flipped to "grill side". Not so. However, like the size and look. Like idea of adding water to bottom pan when baking or broiling; easy clean up. Sent email 3 days ago to DeLonghi asking how to order "optional" flate plate; no answer.
The problem with this grill is, the side panel next to the grill surface which hosts the temperature control is made out of plastic. After a few use on high setting, the internal plastic melted and the temperature wheel is now permanently stuck on low. For anyone who is looking to buy this, I would recommend a grill pan + a toaster oven.
