[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi espresso and cappuccino machine is one of a kind. First thing I did was reading the instructions manual. I really like that the instructions are illustrated and easy to follow. Once I did the machine setup, I proceeded to brew my first espresso and I was surprisingly good at it. I guessed is because of the great instruction manual and my ability to learn quick. I noticed that the machine was ready to be use really fast right after turn dial to ON position, no time wasted. The De'Longhi espresso machine have very cool features, like a double tray to accommodate a taller glass. The advantage of brewing two cups at the same time. A cup warmer to pre-heat your cups and a storage tray. I can brew my espresso using pre-ground of E.S.E Pod espresso. Also, the machine have the ability to deliver hot water. My brewing experience was amazing and gratifying. I highly recommend this machine.
I have had Delongi espresso machines for 6-7 years now and really enjoy making daily lattes for my wife and I. I had to buy one recently because of having to be out of town for an extended time. I love making lattes with this machine. It is easy and very good. I really liked the price point. I like the steam wand it froths better than my older machine. Although I have to make sure that I clean it very thoroughly and purge it otherwise it will drip milk after cleaning. I am happy with this machine and would buy again. I will have to see how it holds up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this De'Longhi espresso machine and I'm absolutely ecstatic about it!..Not only is just the right size to fit on your countertop but the stainless steel is very appealing on the eye!..I made my first iced mocha with it and it turned out delicious!..The instructions were very easy to understand and the step by step process was a great help to get that perfect cup! Can't wait to do a latte and the perfect cup of espresso!..No more spending outrageous money at the coffee stand!
Only had a week, so far so good. Took a little tweaking to balance espresso and milk, but makes a great cappuccino with easy set up and clean up. The ratio I use is one third espresso coffee, two thirds steamed milk. Fair price at Walmart and, as always, a fast delivery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I am not an avid coffee drinker but I do really enjoy a good cappuccino from time to time. I have always been a little intimidated with all the steps involved to make one at home but decided to take the plunge with this machine since it can both make the espresso and froth/steam the milk. There is basically no setup required and the initial cleaning just involves emptying the water bin through both the steamer and espresso drips. The machine comes with some pretty detailed instructions on how to make various espresso drinks, including cappuccinos, and it was a straightforward process. I followed the instructions and boy oh boy was that cappuccino good. It may turn me into an every day coffee person. Of course it's not as easy as something like a Nespresso or Keurig because it does require more cleanup (if you use ground espresso and use the milk steamer) but it's still a very easy machine to use. The instructions say it's compatible with a type of espresso bag-looking “pod” but I just did the ground espresso. The cleanup with the milk frothier is just removing the cover and doing a quick wash, so still quick and easy even with cleanup. It does have the ability to make one or two cups of espresso at the same time as well but you need pretty short cups to fit, which is a little difficult if you plan on making multiple cappuccinos and need larger cups (or I guess you could transfer the espresso from smaller cups to larger ones but I'm not about doing more dishes). I only have two minor complaints. The espresso doesn't automatically stop so you could leave and it'll just keep pumping water through the system until it runs out or you stop it. That's tough for a beginner like myself because I don't know when I'm supposed to stop it. The second is that when twisting in the handle that has the espresso in it, it doesn't “click in” or give any feedback that you have secured it in place enough. Two minor gripes but overall I'm really pleased with this machine and it is going to make it hard for me to not become a coffee addict.
I am for the most part happy about this purchase. We've been using it for about 2 weeks now and the coffee taste has slowly improved. There is a definite breaking in process to achieve a full robust coffee flavor. The coffee maker for the most part is easy to use, the only difficulty has been with attaching the filter to the machine. It's very stiff.

It fits nicely on my counter top and doesn't take up much space at all. I really like how this machine looks, its so sharp looking. The machine is really easy to use. Just add the water and choose what scoop size for the espresso and then wait for the water to heat up and whale, a nice cup of espresso! I like having the option to froth my milk and make other options like a latte.

The filter holder is a pain the neck to secure. It will make you crazy. Sometimes it fits so easily sometimes it doesn't. You may think it holds but if you make a mistake, the machine will start making terrible sound and the coffee will leak from the sides. You will waste your precious coffee and start all over. Besides, the filter can pop up and would also be difficult to put it back. If you can live with these, nothing else to complain. The latte and cappuccino it makes is just delicious. I wish I could enjoy using it as much as I enjoy drinking the coffee it makes.
Works great but tastes like plastic every time. Cleaned multiple time, run water through countless times, and made dozens of drinks.. still tastes like plastic.
