I purchased this and used it on the 6-1 convertible bed. I did have to make one of the slots on each of the metal brackets a little bit larger to allow the bolts to line up with the headboard and footboard. Other than that, it was perfect and easy to convert from a crib to a full size bed.
I am so happy with this purchase! Our crib was purchased in 2015 and after 2 kids using it, I finally decided we wanted to convert it. I wasn't sure if this would match up to the color but it was spot on. Everything needed to assemble was included in the box. I was able to put everything together by myself in about an hour. The bed seems very sturdy and I did not need to buy anything additional.
It was exactly what I was looking for, as it was the same brand as the crib. Quality is good, and price was the best around
Worked great. We got the delta canton 4-1 for my son and it has gotten us through two babies. Once my daughter was big enough to upgrade to a full sized bed, I kept the original for my son and now he has a full matching set it's sturdy and was easy to assemble.
i had the delta emerson crib, this fit perfectly. read the directions a couple times through before assembling if you are unfamiliar with it. i had no idea what i was doing and did put some things on the wrong way and had to disassemble to correct it. user error. the bed has supported 2 adults just fine. our headboard does seem like its a little wobbly but theres no extra supports for that so im not sure why it wobbles. we just have it flush against the wall now to prevent movement. other than that i am pleased with the price and quality. make sure this kit is compatible with your crib before purchasing.
The bed rails are better made and sturdier than the head and foot board from the crib! I didn't like the bracket set up. When you attach the bracket to the head and foot board it became a bit challenging to tighten it because of the wood being in the way and the use of the Allen wrench. Also the slacks aren't very sturdy so I suggest picking up a few more. You get four. What i dislike is all of the crib holes that are noticeable in the head and footboards. Once together the frame looks great and is reasonably sturdy for small kids. All the things you need come with the rails. I did not need the parts from the crib other than assembling my foot board (crib part) which I had the hardware for. Directions were pretty easy. Honestly the metal frame would have bn a more value purchase because of price and sturdiness mainly because I have to spend more money and buy additional slacks. And yes getting from Walmart is a better price than from Delta and if fits. Just ask Delta what is the specific rail part you need. If its 0050 then this is the correct rail set. Enjoy! Bed is cute once together and you DO NEED a box spring. The rails only bring the mattress a few inches up off the floor.
This item helped worth converting my daughters bed to a full size from a crib. She has the Disney Princess Enchanted bed from Babies R Us! We only had to purchase extra screws but if you keep all the original extra screws you won't have to! It is also a reasonable price! We love it!
After putting together and my grand daughter sllep on it. Two days later one of the rails has split already. once im back home I'll take %26 se d pictures.
I thought it was going to be a cute idea to continue on with his “crib” as his bed. Seemed special, so we bought this. It's literally 3 pieces of wood. Why is this so expensive?? I don't know how they expect it to hold up anything. Especially saying that you don't need a box spring with it. There is minimal support. I couldn't even put my knee on the bed, to put a sheet on the mattress without snapping one of the boards. The mattress sinks down to the floor in some spots when my 35lb. child lays on it. Anyway, this became a bigger project than expected because of the lack of frame support. We're going to get 1 x 4 to stabilize it better. I enjoy that it elongates the life of the bed is the only reason it got more than 1 star. Also, it came with scuffs
I just bought the bed rails to convert the delt crib into a full size bed and the slats are to short!!! now i have to go purchase new slats with the correct size at home depot! dont buy these bed rails! dont even buy from delta the extra peices should be included in the first purchase with the crib!
