I purchased this crib for a vacation with our 5 month old. She slept in it for 10 days and I have no complaints. It took me about one hour to put it together. It folds up nicely. I also purchased a 2" Kolcraft mattress based on other reviews of this product. The one it comes with is not adequate in my opinion. It's too thin. The Wal-Mart price on this crib cannot be beat. Great value.
I ordered this crib after reading the reviews. I think it is a great portable crib. Very sturdy and convenient. It is easier to move around than the Pack and Play we were using. My grandbaby comes over about twice a week and this is so easy to fold up and put away and get back out. The directions could have been a little clearer, but that seems typical any more. It is nice that it has 2 levels. I bought a 2" mattress to replace the thin pad it came with, but that was only $20 at Babies R Us. This crib should last us for many years and hopefully more grandchildren!
This crib is very nice and sturdy, easy to assemble, and requires little room. It fits through standard household doorways with ease. The price point is ideal, and the wood finish is modern. The mattress height can be adjusted very easily. The mattress pad included is 1" thick. The instructions, which are posted on the mattress support, state to not use a mattress more than 2" thick. We used the mattress included, and used portable crib sheets and portable crib mattress pads in alternating layers, also purchased at Walmart.com. The crib will be used in a 2-br apt., placed in the bedroom with our 2 other young children who sleep in bunk beds. Using this crib will allow all of them to sleep in the same room without crowding each other during naptimes and bedtimes. Overall, excellent product, excellent price, and no regrets whatsoever.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this little bed! It is thick wood and it's well made. It should last for years. I bought the Kolcraft mattress for the extra padding and it's great. It fits the bed perfectly. I'm very pleased!
we get our grandson every other weekend for over night I wasn't comfortable with him sleeping in bed with us. He's only 5 months and he fits in it perfect in the upper position. You do need to buy the extra mattress the one that comes with it is paper thin. I like that the crib folds up for easy traveling as he will travel with us this summers .
Due to limited space and after MUCH research I decided on this portable crib. It's the same size as the standard pack n plays and arms reach co-sleepers. I wanted something that would fit nicely next to my bed and this is it. My son is 4 months old and loves sleeping in his crib. I love the adjustable mattress height and drop down side. The crib is also a breeze to adjust for my year old niece when she's here and needs a nap. It was a breeze to put together. I was able to do it by myself in about 30 minutes and that was with "help" from a preschooler. Sheets are easy for me to find. I use pack n play sheets and I have easily found portable crib sheets online. I also easily made my own. This crib looks much nicer in person. Very good quality and have recommended it to several people already.
Purchased this portable crib when my granddaughter got too big for her cradle and could pull herself up in it. I babysit her every day and am temporarily in a wheelchair and used to change her diaper, etc. in the cradle. This portable crib is serving the same purpose. I can get her into the bed to sleep and also can reach down to change her while in the crib. Works out perfectly. It is very sturdy and attractive. Was easy to assemble and is easy to operate.
I was pleasantly surprised by the overall look and function of this piece of baby furniture. It does not look "portable" at all - meaning it does not look cheap. We purchasd it due to the smaller size - to fit in our bedroom where a reg size crib would not fit. I would def recommend buying the better quality mattress sold here as you would not want a baby sleeping on the thin one it comes with. Overall great value!
I bought this bed for my grandson since I babysit him. It is a good bed, easy to put together. It came to me slightly damaged, (one of the screws holding the plastic pieces on was screwed too tight and cracked the wood a little bit) but overall a good product. I would recommend this to anyone with limited space or for the occassional use cause you can put it up out of the way when not needed. My grandson loves it and it is way better than a playyard for him to sleep in.
This crib uses very little space, yet provides safety and comfort for the baby. For price you get you moneys worth and then some.
