Although not as long as the original, it is a good replacement. The problem with this part (original and replacement) is that the plastic piece at the end will eventually break, as mine did on both faucets after 8 years. The metal rod should go the entire length.
It's simply too short. The specs and the web page for the product do not indicate what other longer rod can be used as an alternative.
I looked up the Arabella center set two handle bathroom faucet. It's discontinued after only being a couple years old, but underneath that shows the replacement parts. This horizontal rod was listed. It does not fit, is a different diameter and length of original. Mislead is an understatement. Perhaps with replacement parts list which models it works with. I bought two of these as it is a double sink. Im out my money and frankly shouldn't have to replace these already. I'm very disappointed with these faucets as I have had to change the o rings multiple times.
This is the worst design i have ever seen. The ball should have been completey round instead of a half round so nut could be adjusted properly with wear from use over time. The flat side with only 4 places for the nut to rest on wears and can not be tightened evenly so it leaks like a siv.
Would not fit in my 26-year-old Delta Two Handle Lavatory Centerset Faucet as was advertised. The Pivot Ball is too large and the Stem is Plastic I returned it. Found that Home Depot had a Water Works PF0907 Universal Pop-Up Drain Repair Kit with a Metal Stem and Small Pivot Ball which was in my faucet already for $11.97 which solved my problem. I do not recommend buying this PR21517 as it will not work in a Delta Faucet as advertised consider ordering the Water Works Repair Kit as mentioned.
Did not have a metal tip it was plastic and didn't work with my Delta Center Set Faucet as advertised. Returned it.
