There are no words with the instructions, just pictures, which caused a bit of confusion while trying to put it together. But my husband was able to get it done within 45 minutes. Also, it is only rated to hold up to 30 lbs. Not bad when you've got a newborn, but we were purchasing this for our 21-month old so the new baby on the way can have the old changing table. It is just a flimsy piece of pressboard that you lay the baby on to change him/her. It will work for what we need it to, but overall I wish we had spent a little more and gotten a sturdier product.
I LOVE the finished product! put the assembly of this item was horrible. The instructions has only pictures, no words! It was very confusing and Me and my husband ended up having to take pieces off and put back on a couple of times because its not really specific. After we got it together however it a lovely new addition to my daughters room! The only thing im a little upset about is that the white paint on it looks like in places they just sat it up and it like ran down a little, so in some places its a darker white and in others you can see the wood more than usual. (but this is very minor, you cant even tell unless you look for it) Overall I love this item and would recomend it if your willing to guess on some of the instructions!!!! It is very sturdy and for the troubles we had it really did not take us that long to put together!
Once we got this changing table together. which was not easy by any means it was a great product. It looks just like the ones that you get at any trendy furniture store at half the price. My sister in law and I had a horrible time putting it together. I have to say that we aren't the most handy gals around, however the instructions I felt were really hard to understand.
Its a great priced table and it looks great.. my only problem was the direction..it took for ever tp put together.
Compare to the price of other changing tables it is a good price but quality is average. Assembly wasn't easy the instruction isn't complete and you need to figure out how to do some parts.
We actually purchased this prodcut from Kohl's because of a great sale, but were going to buy it from Wal-Mart in the beginning. This table looks nice, but is a pain to put together - no written instructions! It was basically a bunch of pictures that weren't even coherent. My husband is wonderful at putting furniture together and this piece thoroughly frustrated him. Only two pieces were actually labeled as shown in the instructions, so it was like a guessing game the whole way through. It's not very sturdy and the door didn't even go on straight. It's not what we were expecting at all. The shelves are not straight, they are slightly crooked as the holes did not match up for assembly. The pad that comes with for the table part is horrible - do not use! I would suggest purchasing another one right away. Don't try to put too much in the table as I do not think it will hold once you add an 8-10 lb baby that squirms a lot. I loved this table because of the beautiful photos online and because it matched our crib, and also because of the incredible value that it came at. If you are looking for an extremely basic piece that doesn't need to have all the bells and whistles and can be slightly crooked, then this is not a bad deal. If you're looking for quality and sturdiness, look elsewhere.
There is a couple things that upset me about this product. It took us almost 2 hours to put step one together. the directions are horrible, the wood isnt very strong, and the cubbard keeps opening it doesnt stay closed. In the picture it has a bar across the front, the only thing holding that bar there is the two sides. it just slides in. so everytime i touch it or lean on it it falls off. It looks nice and is okay for the price.
This product has no qaulity to it. The changing board you change the baby on is flimsy !! It could not hold a 5 pound baby. Also the other parts were drilled wrong and backwards, so you could not put it together. poor qaulity all around. it looked good online but when you get it, it is not what is all cracked up to be. Total disapointment. We ended up taking it back and spending double the price and getting something completely better ! don't waste your time with this, it may look cute and nice and a great price but you get what you paid for !
