This carburetor worked perfectly, right out of the box! Almost no adjustments needed. Very easy to install, and I’m so glad the sales person directed me to purchase this item. My only slight oversight was not buying the air cleaner at the same time. The carburetor kit, is the way to go! Thanks for the help and timely delivery! “I’ll BE BACK”! As they say!
I bought this carburetor to replace a newly rebuilt Quadra jet the difference is night and day the street demon 625 really woke my Chevy 350 up highly recommend this car I bolted it on adjusted it a bit with a vacuum gauge and it runs amazing!
Bought this for my 64 Chevelle SS and only needed a minor adjustment. Noticed a quicker take off and smooth idle. Only issue is that it has to warm up otherwise it revs a little to high in the mornings. I may may need to do another adjustment.
I put this on a 72 chevy 3/4 4x4 firewood pu. Where I was using 3/4 tank of fuel I'm now using less than 1/4. I have more power than my edelbrock as well.
put this on my 57 pickup with a 383 and started right up,much better than my old carb,i would recomend this to everyone
Finally got the 625 street demon carburetor installed. I only had to adjust the secondary air valve and a minor adjustment to the choke heater. Spark plugs are now a tan color and the engine has crisp throttle response. Great carburetor.
Bought this Street Demon Carb two weeks ago to replace my old Edelbrock 1406. The street demon looked awesome right out of the box. Installed it in my 69 C20 with 5.3 LS1 hot cam. Insulation was easy, it came with everything I needed to hook up to my 4L60 trans, turned the key, fired right up..., This carb made my motor sound and run awesome... I will be purchasing another one for my other trucks... Thank you Holley for making a awesome and affordable carburetor...... #shopjegs..

I got this carb and switched out my holley 750 double pumper. Street Demon was 625 but does so much better on my sbc 350. Very responsive and was easy to install except the throttle bracket which gave some problems.
Bought about a month ago, easy install on Pontiac 350 with Edelbrock intake. Carb included all gaskets and mounting studs, even electric choke wire. Great instructions with solid contact info for troubleshooting. I purchased the 625 with polymer fuel bowl, ran great right out of box, no adjustments necessary, just preffered fine tuning on air/fuel mixture and idle screw. I am happy with it so far, definetely an upgrade from the qjet. Nows the time to buy, i dont imagine the price will go much lower than 288. Only negative i found about it is the construction doesnt seem to be as high of quality i expected. Not awful, just not the standard feel and durability you would expect from a Holley or an Eddy. I would recommend this to anyone with a daily/cruiser or mildly stock ride, plenty of response and off idle acceleration. Overall solid product, cant really beat the price for a good running carb either
