I bought this product for an extra b-day gift for my wife because she love crush ice.She loves it,she use it everyday,she even takes it to work. It has work out great for us.
Got this for my dad and he loves it. Will only crush about 4 cubes at a time, but works well.
5 stars, wish it was a little larger to crush more ice at one time. but only take a few to fill a big cup, love it, the ice is just like sonic ice, melts in your mouth
Works quickly and perfectly for my needs. We found the secret is to turn it on first and quickly feed the ice cubes into the shoot. Really love it and so does every one in the house!
This little ice shaver is working just great as a light weight "one serving" at a time appliance. It is just what I wanted and needed and looks attractive sitting on my counter.
The ice is crush very fine, which I liked very much. The only problem I had is you can only crush 2 pieces of ice at a time. The instructions did not tell me that, so at first I thought it didn't work. But after learning about how many to do at time I LOVE IT.
The only one ice cube at a time does slow the process, but I was looking at a hand grinder which would have taken at least as long. This works well for the home purpose. I've had no problem as long as I've followed directions; start unit with "on" cycle, put in ice cube, when it seems close to done (4-6 seconds) put in another cube, stop when you have enough, turn off unit. It looks clean, doesn't take up a lot of counter space and works. It is a little noisy as expected and does shake a bit while chopping.
I love the crushed ice from the "drink stop" store and this product replicates it! It is a little loud, but that is to be expected. The only issues is that you can only crush one to two cubes at a time. I do wish it had a little bit bigger crushing chamber. But for the price, it is a great product!
The machine basically crushes one cube at a time. Ice blows back through the entry. It is a messy process to crush a cup of ice.
The item is not worth the money. It is only possible to crush one ice cube at a time and the machine is extremely noisy. Placing more than one cube in the chamber causes it to stall, and even with one cube it has a tendency to stall, and you then must shake the cube free of the blades. It only has one setting so it doesn't just "crush" or "chip" the ice it turns it into slush. This would only be good if you want to make snow cones but crushing ice for drinks is out of the question, it practically turns the ice into ice water. Find another product. Quick!
