My 30 year plus old turntable finally died. So, I started looking at turntables. Originally I leaning towards a Dual however, since they are not made for US I decided against it then I went on your website after reading some reviews on the DP-300 I wanted a high end turntable. So, I went and look at the DP-400 and then compared it to the DP-450. I liked that the DP-450 offered 78rpm mode as well as the USB hook-up. I wished that the DP-450 would have came with a little better cartridge but, this sounds OK.
Absolutely wonderful turntable!
This turntable is great. I travel a lot and I can record all my vinyl and play it in my truck. This is a quality turntable, very well made and sounds great.
Pre amp built in with auto stop was my criteria, so this is it ! Plug and play in my home theatre whitout huuuum noise ,,, amazing !! Only complaint, i hate the cover, doesnt cover the antire table its black so its always dusty,,,so its never on it . I will draw one and have it made in acrylic.
I have a long history with Denon Products; AVR-790 Amp/Tuner, a DCD-1560 CD Player and a DRW-585 Cassette Player. Last year (Summer 2020), in preparation to digitize my old vinal collection, I had a Kenwood KA-801 Amp refurbished. Next, I researched USB Capable Turntables and ultimately selected the Denon DP-450USB. This turntable combined with an Ortofon 2M Black Cartridge have exceeded all of my expectations! Keep Up the Great Engineering Denon and Thank You for helping me thoroughly enjoy my vinal collection, once again!!!!!...
No complaints. Fully automatic would be my only improvement.
Can't give this a good rating because it doesn't work with the stylus it came with. Took it out of the box, set the arm correctly and the sound it made was crackly. I grew up with turntables so I know what a bad stylus sounds like. We'll see what customer service does to raise the stars. Can't recommend it because it doesn't work.
