I plugged it in and it worked flawlessly! Great sound! Sounds as good as others for twice the price!
Great sound! Easy set up, usual finding the right spot for the sub, but otherwise Denon has done a good job here. Would like some control, ie, equalizing, but it's ok really. Very satisfied and would recommend!
The DHT-S517 has all the features I wanted and does them very well at a nice price: - The dialog enhancer really works and even made my wife happy. No more closed caption during shows. - The pure mode for music is my preferred listening mode and is clear, detailed and just sounds right. - The wireless subwoofer provides the low end at whatever level we want. - Dolby Atmos decoding with upfiring speakers makes it future proof as more and more streaming services are adding it.
This is my first soundbar and I'm very happy with it. Set up is very easy, sound is incredible, and I love that I can adjust the level of bass as needed depending on what I'm watching.
Love my new Denon sound bar. It replaced a Yamaha one and has so much better sound.
Incredible sound quality. Never had a system that was so easy to setup.
Tremendous improvement over TV speakers. Setup as 3.1 gives much better separation over standard 2ch bars. Atmos is slightly detectable in my room, but expectations are low since it's a reflective arrangement. Subwoofer does what it needs to: supportive bottom range without sounding hollow, but don't expect deep lows or pressurized bass. Really enjoy the ability to use TV or cable remotes to control volume. Clarity and flat EQ is really nice when playing music on "pure audio" setting.
The sound quality is excellent. I really like the the dialog enhance options along with the other settings that affect the sound. I often use the Pure setting with medium dialog enhancement. Great value for the price.
Good sound and ok looking. The fact that theres no way to turn off the led in the front makes no sense. Other soundbars working with this system give you the option to have it wither on or off after a couple of seconds. For the price it should be better designed
