I have Autism and lack a normal bladder capacity. I have used these for well over 20 years and find the 3 tabs on each side adds options on the fit, you can have them fit like underwear or cluster them together and have it fit like a kid's diaper making it better for activities like hiking and even Yoga. The plastic backing slides better on my skin while clothlike products wick out urine and cause me to have rashes on my legs. The plastic also keeps the odder inside the diaper. They do have a soft rustle sound, but no one hears that so I can wear light clothing in the summer and not have any problems with the sound. I don't have a normal bladder capacity so I rarely flood/void in them but for people that do void they may have problems with these leaking, they take more time to absorb then some other brands. These also have wings with padding and that helps a lot as I tend to sleep on my side. These can also taken off like underwear and slide back on due to the elastic at the top and the tapes are adjustable when put on but after the glue sets, they tend to stay on and may tear when changing. Unlike underwear these can be changed without taking your pants off. I find that these have a nice balance where they are thin enough to hold up to long hikes without clumping up and falling apart before it's even wet. These are one of the few adult diapers that are still plastic and work far much better then clothlike stuff. It's not worth trading function for sound levels and trust me, 24 years and no one hears the rustle. They are a great general use adult diaper.
Depends tab style briefs or a good overall adult diaper for incontinence
Diapers seemed to perform less than expected from previous cases. All the diapers seemed to be off slightly. The wetness indicator wasn't centered and the leg gatherers were longer on one side than the other. They seemed to leak more than in the past and didn't quite fit as comfortably.
I bought this product because it is plastic backed rather than “cloth-like”. As a plastic backed diaper style product it contains any odors and leaks significantly better than the typical “breathable” underwear. It also doesn't impart a clammy feeling to my skin. The expected trade-off is primarily noise. This diaper does rustle noticeably when you walk but it can be mostly eliminated by wearing stretchy underpants over it. The biggest problem are the three narrow tabs on each side. They probably hold satisfactorily if you only wear this product in bed. My experience during the day is that one or more (always an upper or lower tab) comes loose. A better design would be two wider tabs rather than the three narrow ones. The middle tab provides little or no benefit to the product.

Unfortunately these are not recommended for fully bedridden patients. They get too hot and the design causes pressure points on the back by the waist area
well first of all they are olastic so when where them andnyour mobile people can hear them. second they dont allow your skin to breath so your very sweaty down there. and then ill go on to say theres six tabs unecisary untill you realize yhey dont dtay attached very well
Plastic outer layer and adhesive tabs are sad old technology. Not breathable, so keeps the area too warm and wet, bad for skin and bladder care. Adhesive tabs hard to manage and can't be adjusted (like velcro can). Not comfortable and very frustrating for me, the user. Baby diapers have better technology, but I'm not that size any more.
The tabs on this incontinence protection do not stick on the pads, and the pads itself are made out of plactic and not cloth and very thin. I have to use a booster liner inside to make it thicker. Very disappointed in this Depends product.
Put this brief on my special needs niece last night and they run small for one and the tabs don't stay put when you fasten them. These remind me of the baby diapers from the 90's. Why would anyone buy these if we have new technology? I'm the dummy that's who. Wish I would have read reviews before buying and wasting my money.
