I'm impressed! The lotion is white, but blends in smooth and without the typical white cast caused by zinc containing sunscreens. It's also not greasy like a lot of other sunscreens. I would like to see this in a higher spf though. Overall, I'm happy with it!
I use this when I play soccer and it works really well!
I am going on vacation soon and it will be a lot more sunny where i am going. I have sensitive skin so derma e has been products that doesnt break my face out. My dermatologist says to use sunscreen every day and this product is a product my skin likes.
There must be a new formulation to this product as it is very greasy yet you are saying it is oil free. Also it has a lower zinc content from 20% to 19.5%
I will never purchase sunscreen from Derma E again! Anything I've received labeled Clear Zinc just turns out GROSS! (This is the 2nd product I've tried, 1st one I threw away, this one I returned and I'm STILL waiting for my refund.) This left my face GHOST WHITE when I used even the tiniest amount. And I'm fair so I can't even imagine trying to use this on a darker complexion. It would not soak in and left a filmy sheen on my skin that felt gross. Facial sunscreen is not Derma E's strong suite so save yourself some time and money and go with a different company that specializes in sunscreen products. I love Derma E's products and the facial sunscreens are the only ones I've ever had a bad experience using.
Thick and heavy sunscreen, which is rough on the skin and clogs pores.
This was so disappointing. It does not spread well, it leaves a sticky texture on my skin, and also leaves me pink-ish and whitewashed. It leaves a terrible look! If I want to put makeup on, it weighs on quite a bit, as if I had several layers of makeup. It's awful!
I bought this of course for my sunscreen but leaves a white cast which I don't like.
I have bought this product for years and loved it. It was creamy and easy to spread and didn't cause breakouts......... but then they changed the formula!!! Now it comes out thick like toothpaste. Feels very heavy, thick; and sticky! Hair and clothes stick to my skin! And another downside it causes breakouts. My skin can't breathe wearing this. So sad. Please bring back the old formula.
Not a fan because of the white residue left behind.
