Used this in the 60's in Viet Nam to cure athlete's foot and jock itch. Worked great but that formula is no longer available. Tried this new formula and it seems to work just as well. It stopped my symptoms in a few days and now I use it once or twice a week.
I (ahem) have large breasts, and this is great under them to prevent the rash. Sorry I had to talk plain, but any gal with my figure will appreciate this powder!
Many years ago a Dr recommended I use an anti-fungal power daily on the inside of my upper thighs between my legs to keep from getting an itchy rash. I use this almost every day and have not had a problem ever since. I also use it under my breasts on hot sticky days. It's good for more than athletes feet!
I have been using this Desenex ever since my Doctor recommended it in the hospital. It has kept me irritation free and dry ever since.
This powder has a smooth, soft texture and a pleasant scent. It works very well to prevent rash and itches.
My feet sweats badly. This product I use for my family. It is the best. It keeps my feet from sweating and shoes for smelling.
Product is exactly what I expected. They just didn't sell it in the store, so I ordered on line, but the packaging at the site-to-store was awful. Each item was wrapped with a large stick-on label that covered most of original information and cannot be removed - well maybe removable with some other product one would have to buy? All items should be packaged together, say in a box, and label the box - not stick a huge label on every item then put the items in a shopping bag.
I'm in my boots nearly 16 hours every single day and my feet are always hot and sweaty. I've always been batteling athletes foot and this product works wonders on keeping it at bay! I've tried creams, sprays and other powders but this stuff is top on the list! Excellent product!
This item contains Miconazole Nitrate - the only remedy, I've found, for Jock Itch. I've tried everything on the market - creams, sprays, other powders - this is the only one that works for me.
a cheaper medical content-- now 2% miconazol nitrate .. it was zinc undecylanate-- a VERY VERY effective ingredient but more expensive to produce i suppese [ even though you got 5 oz. for under $3.50! two years ago ] miconazol is cheaper to make and does ok-- you just need to use more of it --more often at the new higher price. Novartis [ the distributor] would not answer why the product ingredients were changed but i assume costs vs. profit were involved. this product is somewhat effective for heat rash / jock itch for many people and the Desenex --very effective-- zinc undecylanate cream was discontinued also-- however Walmart has a 1 oz. 2% miconazol cream in a tube available for 88 cents in the cheap 88 cent generic drug section [ as of 5-2015 ] for those needing it.
