I just started using this shampoo and I absolutely love it! The smell is clean and fresh, just a little lathers a lot, and it rinses nice and clean, leaving my hair wonderfully clean and fresh. I purchased this due to the fact of all natural ingredients and I plan on buying this again.
I love this brand! The brand always does what it says it all do, have been using it for many years!
Okay, so unfortunately I'm only 26 years old and I'm already seeing my hair thin out. I've been searching for a shampoo and conditioner that not only make my hair feel thicker, but are also made from real, natural ingredients. I was strolling down the aisle in my local Fred Meyer (natural section) and this happened to catch my eye. I picked it up and read it and was extremely impressed by the ingredients and what it promised to do. Well, I'll tell you something...it came through in every way. It smells AMAZING, it makes my hair feel wonderful (it's as if the shampoo is a conditioner...no joke), and I can feel good about what I'm using. If you haven't tried this yet, you should. It's fantastic.
Okay, so this is my first time ever using an organic shampoo. I've grown up using the cheapest shampoo out there, but wanted to make a change in lifestyle. I got my package today and jumped in the shower out of excitement to try it. I was skeptical, of course, because I have very thin/oily hair. When I got out, I could automatically feel a difference. My hair felt so much lighter! It felt so clean, like it wasn't being coated down with bad ingredients. The real question was would it keep this lightweight feeling even after blow drying and styling. Boy was I surprised! It has so much volume, and manageability. No more brazilian blowouts...just a normal blowdry and my hair has the bouncy feeling I want. I will never go back to my other shampoos!
My hair is lovely soft after using this product. My hair is long and rather brittle and Desert Essence made it feel very nice.
I discovered this in Whole Foods a number of years ago and when they stopped carrying the Green Apple & Ginger I started buying it on line. I've tried others but have decided to stay with this.
My hair is fine with no body and dry. The Green Apple and Ginger Shampoo gives my hair body and my hair doesn't feel dry and it really looks good with a healthy shine to it. I really love it.
i've been using dessert essence products for a while now, and i love them - smell good (not like fake chemicals), feel good, and seems to be a good company. worth the extra $$ if you've got it
I changed my shampoo to this since the previous shampoo was starting to leave a wax texture on my hair. This helped great the first few times but now it's drying my hair even with the conditioner.. and my hair is starting to fall out a lot more then usual.
I bought this product since I know Desert Essence is cruelty free. I decided to give this a shot after reading the reviews. I bought the product while there was a sale of 30% off. Shipping went really fast (less than a week after purchase). After a few days of using the product, I was disappointed. The squeeze bottle doesn't work well. If feels like it's clogged and the shampoo is difficult to come out. My hair does not create volume after a few uses and I use a normal suave conditioner. My hair is flat and wilty after 1 day. Sadly I would not use this product again.
