This works great as a spot treatment for acne flare-ups. I usually moisten a cotton ball and then place 1-3 drops of the tea tree oil before dabbing onto face. It can be strong, but after a couple trial applications I figured out how much dilution I needed to avoid any overwhelming burning sensation. I've battled acne for the past 15 yrs and tried hundreds of products (including high end treatments) and the effectiveness of my tea tree oil regiment surpasses all of them. Highly recommend for other acne sufferers.
Over the year or so I have been fighting ringworms. I get them in random places and for any one who has ever had one, you know the itch some serious. I tried ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) for a few weeks and only experienced burn and flaking. I knew I had to try some different. I purchased DE Australian Tea Tree Oil and began using it for my aliment. I bought by this oil after what I thought were two pimples appeared on my face. After they wouldn't go away and we're getting worse, I was recommended to use tea tree oil. I used the oil for one night and when I woke up the next morning I was literally amazed at the outcome. Both bumps had gone down tremendously! I was so happy that I went to use the oil again, buy after only one use it slipped out of my hand and broke. Needless to say, but I was very sad. I'd finally found a solution and could no longer use it again. The story I got it from is 1 hr. away. I contacted customer care and they were very helpful in getting this issue resolved. The quality of this Tea Tree oil is far better than anything you can buy in a store. It is strong and effectively treats ailments from canker sores to athletes foot. Highly recommend!
i swear by tea tree oil for my acne. i mix 1/1 with distilled water in a spray bottle and apply to my skin after showers to keep acne at bay. i also apply directly with a cotton swab to larger pimples when they arrise.
Tea Tree Oil is a must have for every household medicine cabinet. It has so many uses and I trust the quality of Desert Essence's brand. Great product.

Had some minor fungus growing on my bigger toenail. I'm not sure where it came from, maybe the pedicures at the nail salon or the gym??? Regardless, I wanted to get rid of it before it spread or got worse. I applied Desert Essence tea tree oil with a q-tip twice daily for a week, then once daily until no signs of fungus was there.
I have been using this product for years now. Instead of using bleach on her WWII era wood windows my mom uses tea tree oil and baking soda for porous surfaces, like wood. It works like a charm. I personally use it to treat warts. Again, it's fantastic!
I bought this product to cure my Seborrheic Dermatitis (Adult Cradle Cap) and it works wonderfully! I only add one or two drops to my shampoo and my scalp has been clear since the first use.
