This was exactly what I had been looking for over a year to place beside a plant that is close to one of my water gardens . It seems to be sturdy and looks realistic. A winner in my book
I purchased Caracalla Spa Stool only a few weeks ago for my bathroom and everyone really likes the way that is designed and how comfortable when you sit in it. It is a true work of art. It was a great purchase at the price that I paid for it.
I put the Spa chair in my shower & have received so many compliments. I love the look & it serves an important purpose for me - no medical type gadgets in my shower! Also it is light enough, I can move it to the vanity of I want. Someday it may make a beautiful accent in the flower garden.
Love this piece Very nicely designed
I ordered 2 of these for outdoors to put in a garden when I get a house. But in the mean time they are in my apartment and they add that ancient Roman charm that I love. I love these and can't wait to order more columns of different varieties from Toscano to add to my collection.
I love this bath stool. I bought it to use in the shower while recovering from surgery, because I wasn't able to stand in the shower, or to bend to get in and out of the tub. It was ideal for this purpose. Because of the curvature of the seat back, if you have an ample build, you may not be able to sit all the way back in it. I really wanted the Villa Tivoli version to avoid that concern (and as it turns out, I do fit into this one, even with my Juno-esque physique), but the Tivoli was just a bit too wide for my tiny shower stall. This one fits perfectly, and I have still have room to move around it. It adds a nice decorative touch to what is otherwise a basic mid-century bathroom. While I was a bit hesitant to buy based on the price, the pleasure I receive from using it each day makes it well worth the cost. Also, being resin, it will outlast me and end up gracing one of my friend's grandchildren's bath, so that makes it even more worthwhile. And really, why don't all showers/baths have built-in seating? It would probably reduce the number of bath-related injuries. I'm recovered now, but I'm still using this in the shower because it feels so luxurious to have it. Sitting on it while I rinse my hair in the shower, I feel like a pampered noblewoman in ancient Rome.
Looks great in the garden
Overall I am very happy with this spa stool. It looks really good and adds an element of richness to my bathroom. I am 5'9” and 140 pounds and it fits me well. However, if you are much larger than that, it might be too small for you to use comfortably.
Love the rich look of the stool but its more of a decorative piece. Only a kid can sit on it. Too small. I wish they made it a proper sized stool and set a price appropriately. Making a tiny stool just belittles the architectural design that went into making it.
The only problem I had was the size. This piece best suits a child or a smaller woman or a very small man. I am of average height and weight and could not fit into the piece even though I have an average sized butt. Design Toscano happily accepted the piece back though! Great Company!!!
