Easy to put together. Very sturdy. Well priced.
Good quality chair exactly what we need.
I cant stand anymore, this is a viable option
Very sturdy chair and easy to assemble. Need to have on the box the dimensions between the feet as it will not fit everyone's tub, so it may not be right for everyone
Holds at least 200 pounds. Sturdy. Lightweight. Reasonable price. Suitable for washroom. Sturdy back. Adjustable. Recommend!
Good value for money. Only comment is that the legs are a bit wide apart for a narrower tub and don't sit flush on flat bottom but go up on sloping side a bit. Suggest that the description spec give the length/width of feet pads so buyers can see if it's a problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair does exactly what I bought it to do. I have RA and there are times when I just want to sit and shower. It looks nice and it sturdy, but assembly of the seat was difficult. The screws they provide will work, but you have to move the legs around. And the holes for the screws have sharp edges. I sliced off a piece of my thumb in getting the seat legs to work. I would recommend this, but with caveats.
In the last 9 month since i started using the shower benches i have had trouble with the rubber footings spliting open. The first one i had was one a friend had given to me i wasnt sure of the weight limit at first cuz i didnt really pay much attention to it. About 2 months in it felt like the leg on the right side front was bending and causing me to lean right which scared me. So my dr ordered me a new one only to my surprise was the same one. I looked on the leg and it said max weight was 400 lbs of which i am not close too. So i checked the old one as well and it also says max 400 lbs. i used the new one and to my surprise after about 3 weeks the rubber footings have begun to all split one by one. I have replaced 4 rubber footings already in 9 months and do not feel safe on any of these shower benches. How can u fix this issue?
Drive Medical did not provide any measurements for this chair. I took a chance anyway but had to return it because it is too wide for a safe fit in my bathtub.
My doctor wrote me a prescription for a shower chair so that it would be safer for me to take a shower little did I know how dangerous it would be with this shower chair
