I bought this a month ago and absolutely love it. Does everything I would expect out of a chain saw!
I bought this saw a few months ago and have used it several times always with satisfactory results. It takes much less prep time than my three other chainsaws. I wish DeWalt had a similar version in a pole saw.
I purchased 40v 7.5A chainsaw this week and love it. I have owned and do own gas saws and this saw has its place. In most cases unless cutting big tree bases this saw does it all with ease. No gas, very little noise, no pull stating and another engine to take care of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very happy with this chainsaw. The quality and price is superior to most competitor's chainsaws.
I own a tree service and was given this saw by my wife. I didn't think would like a DeWalt chainsaw. It was a little strange the first couple of times I used it. Now this is one of the only saws that goes into the boom truck. When you are up a tree you are constantly starting and stopping your saw to move a few feet. I like not having to pull start a saw hundreds of times a day. The battery lasted way longer than I ever thought it would also. I think this is the best saw for a home owner to get. All of the gas saws on the market are having problems with the new fuel and emission regulations. If they are not ran every month with new fuel you will have problems. That will never be a problem with this saw and since the battery works on my 20v tools it never goes long without being used.
The item is advertised by zoro with a saw,charger and 2 40v 6ah batteries. I had to reorder the item 2 times. The reason I reorder the item was each time I got the item it came with chain saw ,charger and one 4Ah battery. Zoro says the manufacture has made changes on their end and they apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused me. Hello do not apologize , If you made a mistake take a profit loss and fulfill the order. That is customer service !
