I received it quickly; shipments are always fast from Wal-mart. The Diehard DH-200M has adjustable settings so you can select the right power level, timed charged and more. The cables are made with premium materials, very heavy duty clamps, thick - long copper cables...nothing light weight about this model. As usual, "some assembly was required" but no hassle. I used it the first day to start my project car and it didn't let me down. The price was excellent and shipping was free. This was a good purchase for something that I will use often. This wheeled battery charger is a big step up from the bench-top chargers with limited power features. No regrets, this is the right charger for a three car garage.
I've only used this charger once so for. It worked as it should. Only time will tell how long it will last and hold up. I have a smaller charger that I've had for over twenty years. The only thing wrong with it, is it doesn't have a boost. I've used many chargers in 40 plus years. I expect this charger to last a long time. It arrived in good shape. The wheels and handle we're easy to install. Works as it should. Sooner or later the 200 amp booster will come in handy! Very happy so for!
Worked as promised. The only complaint I have is that the box showed crush marks and when I opened it, the charger had sheet metal damage and one of the clamps was twisted. Shipping was not kind nor gentle.
Although I have only used charger 2x since it arrived, I am very happy with this charger. It only takes a few minutes to charge my lawn mower battery. When you have a large yard to cut, every minute counts. Because it has a handle & wheels, it is very easy to transport. The connectors are clearly identifiable & easy to use. Amp strength can be selected to charge various size batteries. Easy to read & understand instructions. And, it's a Diehard, a name you can count on!!!
This is a great charger... it has multiple voltage and Amp selections plus a timer to keep from overcharging at the higher Amperage. Great price for the value.
purchased for charging my batteries for diesel truck that sits and gets started up a couple of times a week to fix various problems. It has worked very well so far (have used about 10 times) and does not overheat like my last charger (different brand). It is smaller and more lightweight than expected.
This is a great charger. Assembly was kind of a hassle, since the pre drilled holes weren't really sized correctly, but I managed to assemble it. Maybe less handy people might need a little help. My battery wasnt fully dead, but it clicked when I tried to fire it up. So rather than using the jump start feature I decided to charge it up a bit. It Fired right up on the first turn of the key after 15 mins. I let it charge an additional 2 hours just to make sure the charge held up. It's really quiet too. No more winter dead batteries for me.
Had 2 very dead batteries. To replace was a min. of $100 each. The batteries keep getting drained from older vehicles. This die hard works amazing. So happy that I purchased it. I now can re-charge all the time and in the long run save a a lot of money. Easy to put together
This is the second unit I have ordered and received from Walmart. Both units work great but both arrived dented. Had time permitted, I would have tried to get Walmart to discount the item since it was damaged. If you're going to buy one, it is worth it. They are good units.
I bought this item after lots of searching for a general purchase charger. I've used it once to top off a tractor battery and it performed as expected. I can't comment on how well this item will hold up over time, but it seems fairly well made and my guess is that it will be serviceable for quite awhile. I was not too pleased about the assembly, which should be a simple matter to install wheels and handle with a couple of screws. The pre-drilled holes on my unit were not where they should have been, so a bit of wrangling was needed to get things lined up.
