Walmart's customer service is great, considering the kit was shipped to me via UPS then USPS and damaged in transit. It was no problem though, Walmart gave me options to resolve the issue. With in five days they shipped a new one to my PO Box. The kit is easy to use and it fixed my VCR conundrum on its first try.
i am glad i was able to get the vcr head cleaning tapes through walmart.com; since we can't get them in the store anymore; there is alot of people who still own vcrs and we need the head cleaning tapes; thank you walmart.com
Yay! It arrived early, worked great!! We have well over a hundred VHS movies...all ones we enjoy watching over and over again so when they started to be garbled, we were worried our VHS days might be coming to an end. In researching VHS head cleaners, we were disheartened to see how many people said they didn't work and even at times got stuck in the vcr. One review did suggest using the cleaner several times and also to let your movie run a bit after cleaning as it WOULD clear up. We ran the cleaner three times, then ran through the beginning credits of our movie...and bingo...everything cleared right up. It does say to run 30 seconds...and you cannot hear it running. We let it run until it quit (approximately 30 seconds)...it then turns the vcr off. We just turned it back on and rewound it ready for the next cleaning session. We would recommend this product.
This product did its job. The only problem I have with it is that it only runs for about 30 seconds. My old head cleaner would run until you got a screen on the tv showing the heads are clean, usually 3 to 4 minutes.
Tapes run time is very short. Depending on how dirty your player is you will have to play it a few times to be effective but overall it works better than the dry tapes.
I cleaned my vcr as directed. Now I only have garbled sound with a snowy non visible picture. I MIGHT AS WELL THROW THE UNIT AWAY. Before I used the cleaner, I had both a good picture and sound. I only cleaned the heads because a notice came onto the screen indicating to clean the heads.
This tape was totally worthless. It wouldn't run in my VCR and I had to return it to the store I picked it up from. Overall I wish that I hadn't purchased this item and I will never purchase anything from Digital Innovations again.
Both machines gave me an error message when I tried them. Would not run at all.
I ordered a VHS wet cleaning kit. I received a dry cleaning tape. They sent wrong item twice. Customer service responded quickly saying they are processing the credit. I received the call tag and have already sent it back. I wish they would not picture a different item then what you send out. The customer service is very fast as far as responding and correcting the problem.
I ordered the Cleaning Kit ,and what I got was a wet/dry tape ..I did not get what is shown in the pictured and was and still very upset about not getting what I ordered ....Wal Mart has another brand of wet/dry tape posted for 4.96 ,so why would I want to pay over 10 ..I returned it and got my money back .
