this was a great purchase. its small and looks good. easy to clean and use. my wife and i recently started dieting and i had no clue how much chicken was three ounces or how many carrots equal 6 grams etc.. I love how you can change it from ounces to grams! great feature since somethings are measured in ounces and some in grams (darn diet foods)
This products at 20 dollars is much cheaper than other digital scales i looked for, and has about all the simplicty, accuracy and features i need\want. It also looks nice on the counter top. I am not rating durability as has only had it for a week, and the only concern i have is that it uses a non-standard battery...i wish it was AA, or AAA, but is a round "watch like" battery, have not looked how much it is to replace it, or where do they sell them.
I love this scale. I bought this scale back in August when I decided to follow the weight watchers program. My husband use it for everything down to weighing chips that we want to eat. It's very accurate and easy to take along with you if you have to go anywhere. I might just buy a few after christmas to have as a back up just in case it might ever break!
This scale works very well for our purposes. The scale we had previously would shut off after about 30 seconds of inactivity - and turn on in grams. This scale gives you three minutes, and defaults to pounds. We are very happy with it.
Very easy to use, nice features, great price. Would recommend to anyone who wants to monitor their nutritional intake. Of course my hubby thought it was an extravagance until he needed to prepare hamburgers for his association's picnic. It took him no time at all to get 30 quarter pounders from a huge mound of ground beef. Not such an extravagance after all, huh, honey?
This product is a great tool in the kitchen. I am just learning to cook, so measuring everything is key for me. This scale is easy to use and small enough to store just about anywhere. I am very pleased! I thought it was going to be white, but it is silver instead. Other than that, it is exactly what I expected and I definitely recommend it to others.
I like this product. It has worked very well for me. The only thing I was dissapointed in was the fact that it only weighs grams that are fairly heavy. I needed to weigh things out that were only 3-4 grams and the scale had no idea it was on there. If you are looking to improve your diet and weigh out foods then this is a good investment.
So far this has been a good product. I like that you can zero out the scale and use any container. Good value if you don't need any fancy calculating scale.
Let me just start by saying this is an excellent scale for the price. We use it every day and find it cleans up well and provides accurate measurements. The one thing I have to criticize is it sensitivity to small amounts that are added to the overall measurement; meaning it doesn't register 1 - 2 gram amounts being added. I found if the scale failed to register the small amount I just added I will just tap the glass as to falsely register more (or less) so the scale is forced to re-evaluates the true total amount. It's a work around, but it does work. Even with this shortcoming we find the scale performs well.
Great for what we needed. It's a little annoying because it needs to be reset each time something is taken off of it, but it's possible ours is just a little off! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
