I used this product for a slideshow at my wedding and I was so excited how well it complimented my day. It was easy to manage and to work out, and sturdy enough for an outside wedding. I'm excited we invested in such a cool product.
Its so cool to just set back and have all your memories and thoughts change before your eyes the pictures that are inserted from the sd card .ITS VERY NICE YOU NEED TO BUY ONE OR TWO.
Easy to use. Photos are high resolution, bright colors, and a variety of presentations including slide show w/music and videos. Really like the nice cherry wood frame. It also comes with a black wood frame as well. ...
I gave one to my wife and one to my sis n law, they both loved them. the only thing i can say bad about it is the power cord sometimes will fall out a little and loose power, simple push in will fix it. I can say it was a perfect gift for my wife and sis n law.
This is the second digital frame I have purchased. The first one (another brand) was a disappointment. This one is relatively simple to use, it does what it is expected to do, and the pictures look great. I'm happy that I brought the first one back and got this one.
Now that I have this frame set up, I love it! The screen is very big, and the cherry frame looks really nice. The quality of the resolution is very good as well! It was hard for me to set up though. It was confusing how to get the stand to attach to the back of the frame. I broke the stand in the process. I also thought it was very confusing how to transfer pictures from my computer to the frame itself. I did it eventually, but it took way too long to figure out.
I found this product to be an "OK" digital frame. From the description I thought it was going to be better!! The only flaw with this frame is that you can't play all your pics randomly, it will play your pics by the folders you download to it, so you have to constantly switch it to other folders in your memory card.
This frame is awesome! Great quality, great images! WAY BETTER THAN KODAK! I have a 7" Kodak that is all frame, not alot of image and always freezes up and flickers. This Digital Spectrum comes with 2 different frames to change with your decor. I researched this purchase quite a bit and found, for the money, size and image quality it was the best buy!
There are about a million photo frames out there, so picking one was hard, and finding consistent reviews was even harder. So we decided to take the plunge and settled on this one. The main reasons for choosing this model was its larger screen size (needed for reasonable viewing across the room) and its screen resolution (800x600, while most other models this size are 640x480). Overall we're satisfied with it, but I'd say the biggest concern we have with it is the quality of the construction. The lcd and electronic guts are attached to the wooden frame with wood screws, but on our frame one screw was missing, and another had stripped the hole in the wood making it of no use. Luckily the two remaining wood screws held firmly, so we're not too worried. Another annoyance was the post on the back of the frame; it tilts back too far, making the lcd tilt back too far. Stuffing some paper in there to limit how far it can open solves that problem. As for the image quality, it's pretty good. I'm pretty sure this frame only displays 16 bits of color, though (I emailed support asking this, but didn't get a response). Adjusting the on-screen contrast, brightness, and color helps a lot. I resized my photos to 800x600 to match the resolution, but reduced the jpeg quality to medium, which was a mistake; that resulted in some obvious image banding in areas with gradual color change (like solid walls). Setting jpeg compression to very high reduces these artifacts a lot. The only other feature I tried was music playback, which seems to work as advertised. I didn't try playing a video, so I won't comment on that. Another small problem is that whenever we turn on or off our TV and AV Receiver, the frame also sees those IR codes and displays the color controls on its screen, which we have to turn off using the frame's remote. Our images are stored in its internal memory, but the transfer was pretty slow; I'm wondering if it uses USB 1.1 vs. 2.0? You'll want to place this frame so it's slightly below eye level, as the image quality suffers a lot when looking at it from beneath. We've moved it to a lower shelf, and it looks a lot better. But overall, we've been enjoying the frame. I'm glad we found a frame that matched our needs, especially one the the 4:3 aspect ratio so we don't have to recrop all our digital images (many other frames are 16:9).
Received the device broken and not working properly from opening up loose parts not attached properly inside possibly was dropped getting it here hopefully the seller can do something to fix what happened.
