Nicely delineated. Easy to stitch. One of my favorites to needlepoint. I've made 3 for various grandkids. Only stocking kit currently made

I was looking for a vintage needlepoint Santa stocking to make for my grandson for Christmas, the colors in this stocking are beautiful, going to start to do the stitches soon
Exactly what I was looking for and for a reasonable price. Easy ordering, easy pickup.
This is a difficult kit; not for a beginner! Of course, I made it more difficult by using different stitches; such as modified long stitch, looped Turkey work, cut Turkey work, French Knots & French bullion knots. I also added embellishments such as a flocked bear nose, glass eyes crystal beads & snowflake sequins. One review complained about embroidery floss instead of wool. The reviewer doesn't know that until just recently, needlepoint wool hasn't been available do to the closing of Paternayan Yarn due to the death of the owner, which also put Elsa Williams out of business. I used Knitting yarn (both wool & acrylic) for the cut Turkey work since it stretches too much to use it for basket weave. I love this kit!
Accurately stamped needlepoint canvas. Good quality floss and clear instructions for color placement. Excited to get it finished.
This is a beautiful kit and looks great finished but be aware it is time intense. Some of the shading is difficult to see and there is lots and lots of tiny spaces. The thread is not wool and knots easily. The finished product is worth the work if you have the time and patience. For the experienced.
I do like the design of this stocking, but be aware that this is not a wool yarn needlepoint kit, but the medium is in fact embroidery floss. In part of the instructions, you have to separate the floss into individual strands... not good for those with poor eyesight! The manufacturer lists wool yarn as part of the kit, but that is ONLY for the tassel at the top.
Very disappointed in this kit. I have ordered twelve other kits and all of them were done with wool. This kit comes with embroidery floss and will not match the other stockings I have made for my grandchildren. Really think that fact should have been included in the discription of the stocking.
