The heater is hardwired into your electrical system and can be either recessed into a wall cavity or mounted on the surface of the wall. To save space and help you work around obstacles, the heater can be installed either horizontally or vertically. Its maximum heat output is 3412 BTUs and it uses a fan to quickly circulate warm air throughout the space, which makes it ideal for drafty areas and rooms with exterior doors, such as hallways, entryways, kitchens, basements, bathrooms and workshops. The grill has an almond finish made from polyester and epoxy powder coating, which resists fading and abrasion. Thermostat The Dimplex T23WH1011CA Wall Insert Heater uses a separate thermostat to control heat output. The thermostat can either be connected directly to the unit or mounted on the wall, whichever is most convenient. Once your temperature has been set, the thermostat will cycle around that temperature, automatically adding more warm air to the room whenever the temperature drops below your set level.
